The castle must have been magnificent when it was intact.
Wandering through the ruins, it's easy to imagine what to would
have been like in the enclosure; passageways, stairs and halls,
surrounded by walls of stone. It was easy to spend several hours
exploring every nook and cranny, looking for interesting compositions.
