1. Bible Contradictions

Mark Twain said the bible contains upwards of 10,000 lies. Here are some of them:

"1 Chronicles 3:22 And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons
of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat,
six.
Funny, I count 5 sons of Shemaiah when the bible says 6.

1 Chronicles 25:3 Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and
Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of
their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and
to praise the LORD.
Funny, I count 5 sons of Jeduthun when the bible says 6.

15:21 And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah
toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah, And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth, And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and
Hezron, which is Hazor, Amam, and Shema, and Moladah, And Hazargaddah,
and Heshmon, and Bethpalet, And Hazarshual, and Beersheba, and
Bizjothjah, Baalah, and Iim, and Azem, And Eltolad, and Chesil, and
Hormah, And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah, And Lebaoth, and
Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with
their villages:
Uhh.. I think someone failed basic math. Clearly there are more than
29 cities listed (count for yourself).

2. Serious Problems with Credibility

There is not a single piece of scientific evidence for spirit, soul, or supernatural force of any kind. Yet the bible talks about these things without special proof as though they were every day phenomenon. It is known to historians that the folk who wrote the early Bible did not take their toy seriously. This plus the entire context shows that the bible is merely the work of clowns.

3. The Ignorant Gospels

I have a table of numbers labeled "Fundamental Physical Constants." These numbers have been agreed upon by scientists all over the world. Some of them claim an accuracy of 12 decimal places. These numbers are used in engineering calculations by millions of people who rely on their accuracy. You can measure these numbers with the same high accuracy anywhere in the world. The theory uses by scientists is similarly accurate. The ideas of religion contradict the scientific theory. Therefore the apologists look dumb

This is proof from another source that mentally defective persons wrote the bible:

Jn:15:22: If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not
had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

                 " So Jesus encountered some people, people who "had not sin."
                  They were free of sin, and had they died this way, they would
                  have gone to heaven. Correct? Express it how you will: they're
                  home free / they're in a state of grace / they're innocents. They
                  don't need to fear Hell."

"And we are supposed to believe the bible? And we are supposed to
accept that the bible has been accurately recorded? And we are
supposed to believe that the bible has not suffered in translation?
And the bible is the word of god, who is perfect? No! Certainly not
if they can't even count to six. 4 year old children perhaps may make
mistakes like these. Is that who wrote the bible? That might explain
a lot."

"PS: I am still getting letters from christians telling me I don't know
the bible. Hello! It says what it says. They call me names, yet they
never address the issues. Or they make lame explanations like
'Copyist error'. This is from the bible -- the word of god -- I am
NOT making it up."

4. American Atheists

The American Atheists were founded by Madykin Murray O'Hair, the lady who "took prayer out of the schools.". Actually she ended cumpulsory prayer. She did it. There are numerous folk who say the other guy actually won the law suit but is is clear from history that the court in its hatred artificially delayed her case or moved up the other guy's case to group them together and then gave his name to the decision. But from the hatred she recieved there is no question that she is the one responsible and clearly deserves the credit.

5. Freedom From Religion Foundation

The FFRF is based in Madison WI. Numerous folk have noticed that this outfit avoids the word "atheist."
There is a branch of this outfit in Talledega, Alabama. They have a retreat called Lake Hypatia. There is even space for camping and boating.

6. Atheists United

I believe this is a group that was once a chapter of American Atheists.

7. Humanists

These folk have an atheist approach to life but not a coherent world view.

8. Unitarians

These folk have an atheist approach to life but even avoid posessing an official world view. A small proportion of Unitarians believe in spirit. Naturally I have been reluctant to join such outfits.

10. Dead Sea Scrolls

The Dead Sea Scrolls do not support Christian ideas. They do not even support Jewish ideas. That is why the state of Israel hid them for so long.
