THE UTE
1948 Studebaker

Paul started with a 1948 Studebaker 4 door sedan. The top was cut and the rear portion was moved forward to make room for the custom made bed. This style car/pickup is called a Ute (short for utility) in Australia but was never made by Studebaker. Paul added a 1950 Studebaker bullet nose front end and custom wheels. He also removed both bumpers.
