She stood in the lobby at Wolfram & Hart smiling
into Angel's surprised face when she heard his voice. Turning, heart pounding, she saw him walking down the stairs just as
he saw her. Eyes locked, she walked toward him, entranced.
He descended toward her, amazed. They stared at each other
in wordless wonder. Hands raise, fingers entwine.
Tears fill her eyes. "How? When?"
"Long story, love."
"I'm
not going anywhere."
"You're staying?"
"For as long as you want."
"How about forever?"
"Only
if you believe me."
"Believe you?"
"I love you," she said as she kissed him.
He wept.
