We Have Garments to Wear

The Lord is calling the Church

As His Bride

(I’ve a dress I can wear)

The Lord is calling the Church to His side

(I’ve a dress I can wear, I’ve a dress I can wear)

Clothed in victory

Clothed in Light

By His blood

All dressed in white

Bathed in mercy

Fragrant with oil

Splendor never seen before

The Lord is calling the Church as His Bride
(We have garments to wear, We have garments to wear)

To rule in triumph so strong at His side

(We have armor to wear, We have armor to wear)

On our waist His belt of Truth

Breastplate made of His Righteousness

On our feet the gospel of Peace

Shield of Faith keeps Satan at bay

Our helmet is salvation

And the sword of the Spirit

The Word of God

Will inhabit our prayers and requests

The Lord is calling the Church as His Bride

(I’ve a dress I can wear, I’ve a dress I can wear)

The Lord is calling the Church to His Side

(I’ve a dress I can wear, a dress I can wear

For my Lord…)
