The World or The Word

A fine line divides the World and the Word
That line is the letter "L"
The "L" is for leaven
But leaven removed
Is the Word in which we dwell

Now the Word is life
But the letter kills
So remove it every dawn
And bask in the truth of the Word He gave
Watch His glories become new every morn

And if it is raining on a given day
And the beauties are hard to see
Know that each day is a day He has made
And He's left neither you nor me

So if you seek you will find
That the World still reveals the Word
Always hold fast that He gave cause He loved
And your vision shall never be blurred.
