Psalm 6

Rebuke me not, in Your anger

Chasten me not in Your pain

Have mercy upon me, for I am weakened

My bones are distressed

My soul also strained

Return to me Lord once again

Save me for Mercies sake

Deliver me from the oppressor I pray

Forgive all my sin

While I’m still awake

Weary, my bones quiver and quake

I saturate the place where I lay

My tears overflow the banks of my eyes

But in grief I grow old

My eyes waste away

Because of my enemies’ day

“Depart! Those who practice deception

My weeping, my cry, has reached the Lord’s hearing

Turn back now the tide

There’s been interception

Suddenly.
