Update on Rob 4-7-08

Yesterday, Rob was resting better, but I found out that he had been given more meds to calm him.  We have been kind of dreading today because we felt we were going to have to decide about his feet.  It seems that it is not as pending as we thought.  His white blood count while still elevated was down some. That I am thankful for.

The dr said last night, Rob is in about as much pain as anyone can be.  They don't know about his intestine and stomach.  He has had some small bowel movements but they need bowel sounds.  The Dr. said, you do realize he is about as sick as any person can be and still be alive.  They are going to do dialyasis today.  His Kidneys are not working really well.

I told the drs yesterday,  I hear what you all are saying but I am believing God for a miracle and I am going to hang on to his feet as long as I can.  I believe God wants Rob well.  The dr said, you go right ahead and pray, he is already a miracle laying here.  There have been several already and just believe for more.

Madeline I think is falling apart due to such stress last week.  I left the hospital yesterday early so she could get home and rest.  She is such a blessing at her job.  While only part time, they send her all the hard cases and one right after another.  She got a letter from the vice president of Prestera telling her what a good job she had done. She works 4 days a week so we can be free to travel or minister on weekends.

It has been difficult to cook, clean and do simple tasks, it is like a wind is blowing through my chest and it is hard to breathe at times. But when I get my focus back on the Lord and the positive things he has spoken then I can relax.

I appreciate all your prayers and responses.

God Bless
