Rob's Story

When this first happened, I was asking God why he didn't warn me He would be allowing my son to die?  After a day or so and I began to meditate,  I realized God had prepared me for months for this trial.

At camp, Cheryl in the media department gave me DVD's of healing schools.  It taught that God wants to heal and it is in our atonement covenant.  Then, with a book, A Message from God where it taught how important to speak life over the person in a death situation and to their body parts.  It is about a mother and her son in South Africa.  I saw their story on Sid Roth and bought the book.  I knew to speak life over him was really important.
I also had been sent a couple of You Tube videos about young men coming back to life after they died or were in impossible situations.  I realized, God had been preparing me for life, not death.

Subject: Rob's story

Rob is 38 years old.  He was just conquering a sever alcohol addiction.  I have often thought maybe he is suffering from Asperger's Syndrome.  It is a form of social autism. He is very intelligent and can function in life but some social situations he is not able to talk out and think through.  He is a little eccentric.  He is so kind and gentle and loves everyone and animals and wouldn't hurt a fly.

Rob was on Campral.  It makes you not crave alcohol.  He had not touched alcohol for almost 8 months.  He felt he didn't need the medication and stopped taking it.  I, as his Mom, was unaware of this.  He lives with a gentleman and his wife and does carpenter work for them.  This pays his board and keep.  He is a good carpenter and can fix lawn mowers and sweepers and lots of things.

One night Rob must have smelled the alcohol in the anti freeze and got overwhelmed.  There was liquor upstairs where he lives, but was told if he started drinking again he would have to leave the home.  We think this might be why he decided to drink a little.  He seemed happy and had plans for the next day.  It could have been suicide, we just don't know.  I ask Rob yesterday if he wanted to live, and he shook his head yes.

We think he took the antifreeze sometime Friday night.  He was lying on the couch Saturday morning at 6:00 a.m.  The gentleman he lives with, Jim was going to go to Wal-Mart and had to walk through his room.  He noticed Rob had not turned off the tv all night and gone to bed.  He heard a gurgling sound and irregular breathing and went over to Rob.  He tried to wake him up or revive him and couldn't so he called an ambulance.  They took him to a nearby hospital.  He was put  immediately on life support. It was 1:00p.m. in the afternoon before we found out what he had drank.

Jim went home at 12:30p.m. to look around again to see if he could find anything around the house that would give us a clue to what he took.  By 1:00p.m. he called back and had found a half mug of antifreeze in the microwave.  Rob put things in there to keep the cat and dog out of it.  He knew it was dangerous for them.

So by the time we found out, he had possibly had it in his system around 14 hours or more.   There is only one antidote for this.  The hospital he was in had the only antidote in the whole area.  They just don't keep it because it is expensive and rarely needed.  It was like God had it there for him.  The doctors said it had been way too long before he was able to get the antidote. I said, God is going to heal Rob so it doesn't matter how long it has been and even if it is sugar water, he was going to be OK.  They had no hope for it to work because they felt the damage had already been done.  But they gave it to him anyway.  Then they transported him to a larger hospital.

He filled up with fluid like he weighted around 400 pounds.  Rob actually weighs around 170. He is tall and skinny.  That is one of the symptoms of antifreeze.  Everything swells up and squeezes the life out of his organs. So the doctors says.  I purposely didn't research on the internet his prognosis.  I only wanted to keep the word of God before my eyes.  Not to be moved by what I saw or felt or heard.

They worked with him at the hospital putting him immediately on dialysis and more antidote.  They worked with as many as 12 people in his room for around 8 hours before they felt he was even beginning to stabilize.  He had a wonderful nurse named Rebecca.  She knew just what to do to balance his blood pressure that was bottoming out.

To keep the blood pressure up to live, they had to give a large dose of meds that caused the extremities to be cut off of blood.  This has caused his fingers to die on the ends. They thought his feet were infected and putting poisons in his body and were going to cause his kidneys to shut down completely.  They felt it best to take his feet off half way up his shin.  I told them no way  I am going to believe for God to put life back into his feet I began to speak to his feet and legs with hundreds of other people praying and they began to pink up.

His bowels were dead for days, no bowel sounds at all.  I ask what they could do for him.  They said nothing, we can not live without bowels and digestion.  We began to speak life to his bowels and tell them to live and then the Drs started hearing little sounds and began to feed him.  He started having large bowel movements.  He is now taking food in a feeding tube really well and they are going to begin to give him his meds through the tube instead of in injections.

His kidneys were over 50% shut down.  We began to speak to his kidneys and around the 10th day or so they began to work better and better.  He is now producing a full amount of urine.  He is still on dialysis.  That is to take some poisions out of his blood because of the rotting flesh on his feet that gets into his bloodstream and causes kidney poison. And remove any remaining toxins of the antifreeze.

His lungs were not working much.  He pulled the tube loose by accident and his blood oxygen really went down.  We again spoke to the lungs to live and be restored.  We sang and prayed and commanded.  The lungs are now much, much better.  He needs his lungs to continue to work and get strong so he can have the breathing tube removed.  Today, they are moving him to a step down unit.  They consider him stable.  He is alert, and responding when we talk to him.  They were concerned he would be blind but he looks around like he sees everything.

We have renamed him instead of Robert Lee Johnson, We call him Robert Lazarus Johnson.

Thanks for your prayers. Sunday morning after this happened, my other son Bo turned on the tv and a preacher immediately said, "This sickness will not end in death but for the Glory of God."  Bo called me excited and we believe that that was the Lord telling us to believe that we would see his Glory and we have, Praise God!!

Last night in Rob's room his nurse Rebecca came in and said, there is our Miracle lying there.  The man he worked for Jim, said yesterday the doctors came into Rob's room and told him every one is talking about how much progress he had made.  The doctors are astounded with his healing and amazed he is doing so well.  Of course they don't tell me that because they don't want to feed that confident faith in me. LOL

I tried to make it short but so much has happened. So many MIRACLES!!!!
