Praise Praise Praise Report 5-9
I know I told you I probably wouldn't write again, but it is so good I thought you might enjoy it.
I got a call yesterday. They are going to skip the skilled nursing facility. Rob is strong enough to go straight
to rehab. They would have taken him yesterday, but there were no beds.
They are talking of removing the stomach tube, because now, Rob is totally eating real food. His first meal last
night. He can eat or drink anything. They are talking of removing the trach tube. All that remains is his
strength and for his stumps to be reformed and fitted into a prosthesis. He will be learning how to get in and out of a car
and into a wheel chair. I will be going to the hosptial today to learn with him so I can help him
Praise God, Praise God I never thought this day would come especially
so soon. The doctors talked like it would be weeks and weeks.
