The Coming Feast

The Coming Feast

John 7:6-8 So Jesus said to them, "My time is not yet here, but your time is always opportune.  The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil. Go up to the feast yourselves; I do not go up to this feast because My time has not yet fully come."

Vs 9 Having said these things to them, He stayed in Galilee.  But when His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himself also went up, not publicly, but as if, in secret. So the Jews were seeking Him at the feast and were saying, "Where is He?"  There was much grumbling among the crowds concerning Him; some were saying, "He is a good man"; others were saying, "No, on the contrary, He leads the people astray."

John 7:37 (AMP) Now on the final and most important day of the Feast, Jesus stood, and He cried in a loud voice, If any man is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink!
He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, From his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water.

John 7:39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

This feast was the Feast of Tabernacles. It was a celebration. What I'm seeing but not quite fully, is in the coming days ahead, there will be a revival. Much like the feast here. But Jesus says to the church,  "go! go! but I won't be there; just not yet"  however He will not reveal Himself openly just yet for He truly is walking among them in secret.

And then when He speaks about the Holy Spirit... on the LAST DAY of the feast... he cries with a LOUD voice... there is a CRY going forth here... that WHOEVER BELIEVES AND TRUSTS AND CLINGS TO ME will have rivers of living water flowing from the inside....

Okay,  do you see a body of believers who will attend these "revivals" and see miracles and celebrations, but do not see Christ? Could it be really possible that there are revivals in Jesus' name but He is not there or rather, not glorified?

Well consider the Feast of Tabernacles.
What is the Feast of Tabernacles but a celebration of the abundance of God's goodness. Just as the booths (tabernacles) represented temporary dwelling places, the Messiah was made manifest in a temporary dwelling (The Body) as He came to tabernacle among us (Jn 1:14). The Jews saw a foreshadowing of Christ,  but could not see Christ HIMSELF when He was right under thier nose.

And so here, Jesus goes to the Feast on the very last day of the festival. There is a celebration OF HIM, OF GOD,  but there is more focus on the merriment and the celebration.
Christ DID not Reveal Himself until the last day.

Revival simply means "visitation".  It's GOOD to celebrate the things of God but I also believe that we can get caught up in the blessings and the celebration and even see healings and deliverances in Jesus name, and yet not see HIM.

We can even get caught up in discussions regarding Him.  See verse 9.

"Oh but this passage is talking about Jesus, not about Todd Bentley. "

Okay,  this is true.   However doesnt it say that "whatsoever you do to the least of these that you do unto me?"

Will that mean that any healings or deliverances and other miracles which occur will NOT be of the Lord? No, I'm not saying that at all. Jesus did not forbid His disciples from attending. He gave them authority to preach the word, bind, loose, instruct, heal, deliver, etc. They had the authority to do it in His name. It was THEIR DAY.  Just not yet Jesus' Day.  (verse 8) I believe that in the upcoming revival we will see many of these things.

One thing bothered me.  He was there in secret, known only to the ones looking for Him, not to the others.

Towards the end of these revivals many who were raised up as prophets will cry out "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN THE SON OF GOD."

The peoples have not yet touched HIM. Healings have taken place, but was JESUS AS "OUR HEALING" met?
Jesus is "OUR HEALING" not just "OUR HEALER"
Jesus is "OUR PROVISION" not just "OUR PROVIDER"
He calls HIMSELF "THE BREAD OF LIFE"
HE IS.
Not just HE GIVES.
HE IS.
HE IS.
it says in verse 39 "the spirit wasnt given because Jesus wasnt glorified yet"

Do you believe here that, contained in these verses, is a message regarding the coming days ahead and the LIE and DECEPTION that will be allowed? Those who were looking for celebration, miracle, feasting, all in the name of the Lord, will get that but has Jesus been glorified?

Jesus came as a baby the first time to the Jews, wrapped in clothing and laid in a barn stall. A stinky barn stall,  among cattle and pigs and goats, The Jews did not recognize Him.

They were looking for a royal King who would rule as a man and deliver them from the oppression of their earthly enemies.    They missed the day of their visitation.
And we, the Body of Christ, think we surely would recognize Him if He were to come now. Because we have "our relationship" with Him.
I think the question we should ask ourselves is not JUST "Will we recognize Him?   He is coming back as a God who LOVES me and "I'm saved - it's a done deal, right?"

Okay, then.    What are we speaking about those who serve Him?

You know, I am a nameless, faceless one, prophesied about to do miracles, and works the works of God.   I am prophesied about.

So are you.

Will we recognize that He is there in secret?  Have we ever asked ourselves THAT?

We need to examine ourselves to make sure that we are seeing HIM in the BODY of Christ. And also know when He is hidden amongst us.

Whatsoever you have done to the least of these, this you have done to Me.

Do you get it, Beloved? Do you see?
Christ in YOU is the hope of glory...
But do you see CHrist as a baby in your brother or sister? Can you see beyond the stinky flesh and find Christ? However small?
Do you recognize Him?
John 20:13 And they said to her, Woman, why are you sobbing? She told them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.
14 On saying this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing [there], but she did not know (recognize) that it was Jesus.

I wrote the above article a few years ago, making minor changes along the way as I saw needed correction.   I saw in the spirit a time of coming revival that would cause people to grumble about Him and to act like He wasnt with them.

This is it.    Or one of several "it's"  to come.
