When All is Said and Done

by darlene rose

There is a way that seems right to a man

In his own eyes, in his own eyes

But his motives are carefully weighed by the Lord

There is no disguise, no disguise

And when all is said and done

There'll be no place to hide, no place to run

For He will burn away

The stubble, the wood, the hay

And all that shall remain is what is real

Ev'ry thought, ev'ry deed, ev'ry plan

Will be tried in fire, refined in fire

All to turn back the stubborn heart of man

It is His desire, His desire

And when all is said and done

We'll be the glorified work of the Son

Once worthless lumps of clay

Now treasured vessels prepared for the day

When we shall reign eternally

With Him we shall reign eternally......
