Ps 80: 19 Restore us, O LORD God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!
Ps 110: 1 The LORD said to my Lord,
"Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."
2
The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies!
Psalm 80:8 You have brought a vine out of Egypt;
You have cast out the nations, and planted it.
9 You prepared room
for it,
And caused it to take deep root,
And it filled the land.
10 The hills were covered with its shadow,
And
the mighty cedars with its boughs.
11 She sent out her boughs to the Sea,[c]
And her branches to the River.[d]
12 Why have You broken down her hedges,
So that all who pass by the way pluck her fruit?
13
The boar out of the woods uproots it,
And the wild beast of the field devours it.
Ps 80: 19 Restore us, O LORD God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!
Ps 88: 10 Will You work wonders for the dead?
Shall the dead arise and praise You? Selah
11 Shall Your lovingkindness
be declared in the grave?
Or Your faithfulness in the place of destruction?
12 Shall Your wonders be known in
the dark?
And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
The Father put Christ on the Cross so that the enemy did not have power over Him. It wasn't the Jews,
though they urged Pilate.
It wasn't the Romans although they did the physical deed.
It wasn't even all sinners because our sin doesnt have more power than He does.
Death cannot touch Him.
Jesus said He came to lay His own life down. He will lay it down and build it up again. No
man takes His life.
Yet we saw HE was killed.
But it was the Father who did it.
And the Father was pleased to do it.
That He alone would have glory.
But it wasnt unto death for Christ rose again.
All who follow in Christ, will follow the pattern.
Yes Christ lives in us, but our journey is one of death.
It is the Lord who kills us
That Satan would no longer have glory in our lives.
Is 53: 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him;
He
has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He
shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the
LORD shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall
see the labor of His soul,[b]and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify
many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And
He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And
He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.
