Redemption is Really HisStory, Isn't It?

Lord why do You call me out of

The place of darkness

And into light

Only to throw me in darkness again?

Why do You call me out of bondage

Where I was unable to free myself

Only to put me back in shackles?

Why do you deliver me from shame

Only to reveal my own covering

Of it did more damage than the

Original injustice?

Why did You outline

All I would be

And tell me not to walk in it?

I was intelligent once

I cant open my mouth to speak now

I spoke in front of many

I can no longer speak in front of one

Why did You just tell me it was

I who alerted the enemy

Yet You cause my very being

To cause wonder to all?

My countenance displays trouble

My body trembles when You are not around

Yet what do I do?

Call forth to remembrance Darlene

Yes… I will call forth to remembrance Lord…

You thrust a sword in my chest

I felt the pain

But it was a quick thrust

In and then out

I hardly knew what it was

But it stunned me and then

I heard Your voice

It was I who wounded You

It was I who healed You

So no other god can do either

Yes I remember

It was I who delivered You

Out of captivity

And put You back in again

So no other god can do either

It was I who delivered You

Out of infirmity

Yet allowed it to remain

That no other will get glory

This is My Story

This is My Redemption

Yes Lord

I bring You to death

So no one else can

I wrapped you in myrrh

And preserved you from

Its sting

All glory is mine

This is My Story

This is My Redemption

Death does not praise Me

My love is not declared

From the grave

But the voice of your foe

Becomes louder

And clearer

Insults and lies

Are allowed to be heard

Press in come closer

Move forward toward Me

And find blessing and Truth

No place else but My Word

Call forth to remembrance

The Word that you heard

Lord I remember

You said to                                                         "Be still

Be still

And know that I Am God"

Lord I remember

Your prayer

 "Not my will

Not My Will, Father

But Thine be done"

Lord I remember

You said                                                         "I will kill

Yes, I will kill you

That no other god will"

Selah…….

Revive me Lord

Touch me

Shine upon me again

That I could walk in the strength of My God

In the sanctuary and not be afraid.

Ps 80: 19 Restore us, O LORD God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!

Ps 110: 1 The LORD said to my Lord,
"Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."
2 The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies!

Psalm 80:8 You have brought a vine out of Egypt;
You have cast out the nations, and planted it.
9 You prepared room for it,
And caused it to take deep root,
And it filled the land.
10 The hills were covered with its shadow,
And the mighty cedars with its boughs.
11 She sent out her boughs to the Sea,[c]
And her branches to the River.[d]

12 Why have You broken down her hedges,
So that all who pass by the way pluck her fruit?
13 The boar out of the woods uproots it,
And the wild beast of the field devours it.

Ps 80: 19 Restore us, O LORD God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved!

Ps 88: 10 Will You work wonders for the dead?
Shall the dead arise and praise You? Selah
11 Shall Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave?
Or Your faithfulness in the place of destruction?
12 Shall Your wonders be known in the dark?
And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

The Father put Christ on the Cross so that the enemy did not have power over Him.   It wasn't the Jews,  though they urged Pilate.

It wasn't the Romans although they did the physical deed.

It wasn't even all sinners because our sin doesnt have more power than He does.

Death cannot touch Him.

Jesus said He came to lay His own life down.   He will lay it down and build it up again.    No man takes His life.

Yet we saw HE was killed.

But it was the Father who did it.

And the Father was pleased to do it.

That He alone would have glory.

But it wasnt unto death for Christ rose again.

All who follow in Christ, will follow the pattern.

Yes Christ lives in us,  but our journey is one of death.

It is the Lord who kills us

That Satan would no longer have glory in our lives.

Is 53: 10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul,[b]and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.
