Whose Report is Believed?

the Israelites wandered through barren land

by Moses's staff and God's right hand

encountering trials along the way

longing for The Better Day

"did Moses err?" they often asked

when they approached the
land, hand-picked for them

all they could do was complain and condemn

"there are giants in the land - we cannot overcome"

but Caleb and Joshua, son of Nun,

saw the Promise God gave and put trust in Him

though victory looked, by appearances, slim

only those who trusted in God's perfect plan

were able to go into the Promised land

yet the earth trembled underneath

Who's report is believed?

He knows how to expose all things we've concealed.

BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US.
