Sweet Lover of God

9/30/05

Sweet lover of God

You breathe in His mercy every morning.

Sweet lover of God

You rest in His goodness every night

Sweet lover of God

You wear His graces like a mantle

I give thanks that He sent me

A sweet lover of God

Sweet lover of God

How my heart beats strong to greet you

Sweet lover of God

How my eyes tear up with pride

Sweet lover of God

Precious mate, my life’s companion,

I give thanks that He sent me

A sweet lover of God

Through all our life’s trials and confusions

Through all our life’s sorrows and pain

We’ll give due thanks to our blessed Savior

As we stand at the altar again

Sweet lover of God

You breathe in His mercy every morning.

Sweet lover of God

You rest in His goodness every night

Sweet lover of God

You wear His graces like a mantle

I give thanks that He sent me

A sweet lover of God

I give thanks that He sent me

A sweet lover of God
