Prayer

10/04/05

They’ll come and shout for joy in Zion

Radiant for our mighty Lord

And for the grain, the wine, the oil

The flourishing flock, the growing herd.

Their life will be a watered garden,

They will suffer neverm0re.

The virgin will rejoice in dance

The young and old together.

Lord let me keep my eyes on you

Every morning

Lord how my heart cries out to you

Every noon and night

I want to scream it

I want to shout to the sun

You’re the only one

The Father’s Son

Lord let my prayer soar up to you

Every morning

Lord may you shine through all I do

Every noon and night

In every action, may my mind’s eye see

What you did for me

On Calvary.

Lord keep my faith and hold it strong

Every morning

Lord keep my footsteps from all wrong

Every noon and night

Mold my heart, make my spirit right

Holy in your sight

Basking in your light.

Their mourning will turn into joy

And comfort banish sorrow.

The souls of priests will overflow

And all will love his goodness.

Their life will be a watered garden,

They will suffer neverm0re.

The virgin will rejoice in dance

The young and old together.
