Our Destiny

Did you see Him on the cross?
Did you see Him hanging there?
His body taking all our sin's
Consequence... we were to bear

An agonized voice cried to the Throne
"Why have you forsaken Me?"
Separated and alone
He then rose into eternity

For now we only see in part
But then, we'll see Him face to face
At that time knowing well His heart
And understanding full His grace

But in the meantime as we learn
To walk in what we don't yet see
We rise and fall and rise again
Growing closer to our Destiny

He alone is our Destiny......
