Therefore, Today, I Will Sing
Though once we had so many dreams
Some still hoped for
Others have gone
We seem to teeter and totter between
The past and the present
The dusk and the dawn
But what about Today?
As children we knew who we wanted to be
As adults we mourn who we never were
But what about Today
Do we know who we are?
Are we as those childhood dreams
That seem so very far?
Are we always seeing
Yet unable to be?
What about Today?
Who are we?
Today.... I am a child of God.....
Today.... I am a daughter of the King
Today.... I am loved and highly favored...
Therefore, Today... I will sing....
