About Doug Chanin

Doug Chanin has worked in the photographic field for over twenty years. He studied photography at the Center for Media Arts in New York City. He began his career as an assistant at one of New York's top commercial studios.

Doug moved to the Rochester area in 1990, and started Doug Chanin Photography with his wife Dawn. They run the studio from their home in Penfield. Clients come from all over the Greater Rochester area for their unique style and quality work. The studio specializes in unique high quality portraiture with an artistic sensibility.

Doug Chanin is a member of the Professional Photographer's of America, The Professional Photographers Society of New York and The Greater Rochester Professional Photographers Association. He has been awarded the Bronze service award from the Professional Photographer's Society of New York, and has served as President of the Greater Rochester Professional Photographer's Association.
