HealthPlus and MSC/Premera Blue Cross Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) style plans provide high-quality health care with low out-of-pocket costs and virtually no paperwork. Members select their practitioner from among an extensive network of Primary Care Practitioners (PCP).

What is a PPO Plan?
Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans offer a cost-effective approach to health care. These plans offer access to a select network of preferred providers and facilities to help reduce out-of-pocket expenses when seeking care from a preferred provider or facility.
Physicians, specialists and facilities are chosen from one of the largest physician networks in the Northwest. Benefit designs are flexible, especially for larger employers though coverage is generally based on a percentage of covered medical expenses after an annual deductible is satisfied.

What is a Point of Service (POS) Plan?
Flexibility is a strong benefit of Point-of-Service (POS) plans. POS enables members to choose a Primary Care Practitioner (PCP) from an extensive network and still have coverage if you self-refer. PCPs manage members' care with low out-of-pocket expenses.
