Will & Estate of John Booth, 1793-1796 ...I, John Booth of Amelia County, ....First, I leav e to my beloved wife, Elizabeth Booth, the lands and plantations whereon I now live, togethe r with five negroes to wit: Harry, Charles, Aggie, Pat and Alba, two horse...equally divide d between my four children thereafter mentioned as they shall come o fa ge or marry viz: Joh n Booth, Thomas Booth, Mary Booth and Elizabeth Booth....Item: I give to my son, John Booth , one negro boy named Cyrus, one roam horse and one feather bed and furniture to him and hi s heirs forever.....At a court held for Amelia County the 24th Day of Oct 1793.
