Henry's sister Luranna and brother Ralph were married to Peter and Sophia Samples. Their bro ther was Henry Clay Samples, who lived in the Clendenin area next to Henry and Susanna Smit h Hill. Ralph and Sophia and Peter and Lurrana were also near neighbors.
