Lisa deGruyter is currently Manager, e-Server Administration, e-Solutions, Information Technology Division of the Texas State Comptroller's Office.   e-Server Admin supports the agency Unix servers, including Window on State Government , e-mail, DNS, Lotus Notes, and database servers, and the enterprise Web application servers, including WebFile sales tax filing on line.

Previous Positions

Systems Analyst, Enterprise Server Support, Information Technology Division of the Texas State Comptroller's Office . 1998-2000.  Her primary responsibilities were managing the electronic mail system, which serves over 3,000 users, and an agency X.500/LDAP directory . Both run on IBM RS6000 AIX.

Texas State Library, Austin, Texas. 1993-1998. Manager, Electronic Library Services (Project Link), Texas State Library , Austin, Texas. Project Link included the Texas State Electronic Library (a WWW/gopher server organizing information for, by and about Texans), the Texas Records and Information Locator (TRAIL, a depository and index for Texas State electronic government electronic documents). In FY 1996, it included the Internet Assistance Grant progra m (a program to connect public libraries to the Internet, train public library staff to use the Internet, and provide electronic materials to public libraries.)

Managed a statewide long-range planning process for library development, statewide interlibrary loan network, statewide regional public library system, competitive grant programs, and accreditation of public libraries.
