Some music our Slovak ancestors may have heard:

We thank God that we are Slovaks
living free in America.

We came as Slovaks, as did many others,
and together work without fault.

It's been over 200 hundred years since America
fought a great war and won it's freedom.

Some may want to take this freedom from us,
but it is very precious and we will not give it up.

Here, together, for the sake of our children,
we will defend it whatever the cost.
