The Joshua Tree Extension is a Firefox extension designed to improve the experience of reading and posting to Ben Jones' Housing Bubble Blog (http://www.thehousingbubbleblog.com).

Features

Display Number of New Comments
On the main page of the blog, in addition to listing the total number of comments, the extension will display the number of new comments since you last viewed the post.
Toolbar for Navigating Post Comments
When viewing the comments for a given post, the Joshua Tree Extension adds a toolbar to the bottom of the web page which provides a button to navigate to the next unread comment.
Ignore Comments by Certain Posters
Add a user to your "ignore" list to have comments posted by that user automatically collapsed. Ignored comments are hilighted so you're aware of what you might be missing.
Hilighting of New Posts
Comments that are new since the last time you visited the blog are hilighted so that they are easier to recognize.
HTML Formatting for Posting Comments
The Joshua Tree Extension adds a collection of buttons to aid in adding HTML formatting to your blog comments. It will also validate your HTML to ensure you don't forget to close any tags!
Comment Preview
Preview your posts before submitting them, including any HTML formatting and emoticons.

Requirements

The Joshua Tree Extension requires Firefox 3.0 or later (version 9.x is now supported). To download Firefox, please visit mozilla.com.
