This downloadable version of HerdSoft is a DOS based program and is not Y2K compatible.
In other words: it will report erroneous dates and date dependent information. It is intended as a demonstration
since all other functions work as expected.
A Y2K ready version may be purchased but please note that it remains a DOS based program. It has successfully run under
Windows 98 however it may not run under future versions of Windows and will not run under Windows NT.
Current users of HerdSoft who wish to move their data to another database are welcome to request the "data export" program
by sending an email to the address below. There is no charge for the "data export" program however it will require
someone who is knowlegable to import the data into a different database.
