This piece was created using a wheel thrown pot cut in half at an angle. The top half was then rotated 90 degrees and reattached. The tongue was created using the rim of a previously thrown pot. All external elements were attached prior to bisque firing the piece. Color was added using iron stains, and the piece remained unglazed.
