Duty members need to be at the Hall 30 minutes before the dance starts unless we are having dinner, then it is 30 minutes before the dinner.  Typical dance start time is 7:00 so you need to arrive at 6:30.  Our dinners usually start at 6:30 so you need to arrive at 6:00.  All duty members share both kitchen and door responsibilities.  If you are unable to do your duties, it is your responsibility to notify the Vice-President as soon as possible that you cannot do your door and kitchen duty on that date.  


December 31st,   TVC New Year’s Eve Dance “Dancing the Night Away”, Hillsboro IOOF Hall; pre-plus 8:45– 9pm, mainstream and rounds with every third tip plus, 9 – 12:15am; Darrell Kalmbach is calling and Sherri Clark is cueing; please bring finger foods, salads, and desserts for open break; this dance is co-hosted by the Sunset Promenaders and Eager Beavers; admission is $8 per person at the door

January 2nd,    2020 Promenaders Plus dance

January 4th,    “Wild West” mainstream dance; chili and cornbread served at break

January 5th,    Mainstream square dance lessons begin and continue every Sunday, 4 – 6 pm

January 16th,    Promenaders Plus dance

January 18th,    “Pajama Dance”, mainstream

January 19th,    Mainstream lessons

January 24 – 26th,    Mid-Winter Festival, “The Diamonds of Dance”, Linn County Fairgrounds in Albany; the featured callers are Deborah Carroll-Jones and Patty Greene and the featured cuers are Sally and Bob Nolen; Mike and Darrell are scheduled to call, and Julie is on the program to cue; we usually get together for dinner on Saturday afternoon, details to follow; for a registration form, visit the website at: http://midwinterfestival.com/

January 31st,    PAC 5th Friday Dance, Milwaukie Community Club; Darrell Kalmbach is calling and Tami Helms is cueing; plus with intermediate rounds, 7 – 7:30 pm, mainstream with rounds, 7:30 – 9:30 pm

February 1st,    “Mardi Gras” mainstream dance

February 2nd,    Mainstream lessons

February 6th,    Promenaders Plus dance

February 15th,    “Valentine’s Dance”, mainstream

February 20th,    Promenaders Plus dance; Julie Stiers will be the guest cuer

February 22nd,    Hoedowners’ 70th Anniversary Spaghetti Dinner and Dance, Aloha Grange; Daryl Clendenin is calling and Randy Lewis is cueing; dinner at 6:15 pm, mainstream and phase 2 rounds, 7 – 9 pm, announcements at 9 pm, plus and intermediate rounds, 9:10 – 10 pm; there will be an open break during the dance

February 23rd,    Mainstream lessons

February 27th,    Club meeting at the Odd Fellows hall; soup and potluck at 6:30 pm with the meeting to follow about 7 pm

February 29th,    TVC “Celebrate Winter Ending” dance, Aloha Grange; Adam Christman will be calling and Joyce Hooper will be cueing; pre-rounds at 7:30 pm, followed by a mainstream dance with every third tip plus, 8 – 10 pm; bring finger foods and desserts to share; cost is $7 per person at the door

June 18-21,   2020 69th National Square Dance Convention, Spokane, Washington
