  Effective and Efficient Missionaries
Integrity, effectiveness and efficiency were the standard of Fig Tree Ministries and the missionaries and mission works that received financial support made possible by generous contributions of individuals, churches and other organizations. 

  Meeting unique and immediate needs
Fig Tree Ministries was able to provide financial assistance for a number of unique and immediate needs. Two examples were:

• A young couple discovered that no funds were provided to purchase a car; necessary for them to get to and from the teaching job that is the "cover" for their undercover missionary project inside a country that is closed to missionaries. Sally Martin, a member of our Executive Board, learned of the $2,000 needed and knew that FTM had recently received contributions provided for such an expense. Funds were provided discreetly through PIONEERS for this need.
• A national pastor in India needed $1,500 to purchase a new motorcycle. Gabe and Sally Martin worked with him during their recent short-term mission project in India. Gabe and Sally presented the need and while ministering in Mississippi, a small Baptist church committed to meeting the need. A total of $1,635 in designated were received provided to Pastor Clarence resulting in purchase of the needed motorcycle and covering additional ministry needs.
