This Bar-B-Que sauce begins with a bottle of your favorite beer.
Do yourself a favor and don't make this with "Millcorwieser".
Use a good micro brew instead.
A dry amber ale is better than a pale beer and a British Stout
would give the sauce good hearty flavor.
Variations:
- For a light sauce use a pale beer.
- For a hearty sauce use a dark beer
- Substitute Brown sugar for Molasses to let the flavor of the beer come through.

Beer Bar-B-Que Sauce |
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Beer
- 1 Cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in sauce pan.
- Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 8-10 minutes
until slightly thickened.
