There are several ways to make fudge. This is one of the easiest.
Basicly you melt chocolate chips and stir in a few more ingredients.
It's pretty tough to screw up. Just make sure that you use only
enough heat to melt the chips slowly.
Oh yea. The results are great.
Variations:
For variety, try one or more of the following:
- Make half of chips mint chocolate chips.
- Make half the chips peanut butter chips.
- Fold in two cups of miniature marshmallows.

Festive Fudge |
Ingredients:
- 3 Cups (two packages) semi sweet chocolate chips.
- 1 14 ounce can Eagle Brand Sweeten Condensed Milk.
- Dash of salt.
- ½ to 1 Cup chopped nuts (optional).
- 1½ teaspoon vanilla extract.
Directions:
- In a heavy sauce pan, over low heat, melt the chips.
- Stir in the Eagle brand milk, salt and vanilla. Stir in nuts if wanted.
- Spread evenly into a wax paper lined 8 or 9 inch square pan.
- Chill two hours or until firm.
- Turn fudge onto cutting board, peel off paper and cut into squares.
