Library Card

Borrowing privileges are granted free of charge to individuals who own property within our library district, or whose permanent residence is in our library district. District maps are available at the circulation desk.

Non-residents may purchase a library card for an annual fee of $55.

To apply for your library card, you must complete a brief application which will be kept on file at the library. You will not need an individual card to check out materials at the Heyworth Public Library. If, however, you would like to check out materials from a library in the Alliance Library System (which includes Bloomington, Normal, and other surrounding towns), you may request an individual card. There is no fee for this service.
