Prior to his
association with McCabe-Henley, Mr. Swint owned and operated an economic development consulting firm in Charleston, West Virginia,
that was awarded a number of development contracts. Clients included Columbia Gas/Gulf Transmission Companies through Productivity
Point International, West Virginia University, the US Department of Energy’s Federal Energy Technology Center, and the
West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation.
Prior to that,
he served as the Assistant Director of the Mon Valley Tri-state Network in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was also a Planner
with Region Six Planning and Development Council in Fairmont, West Virginia, and a Planner II in the West Virginia Governor's
Office of Community and Industrial Development (WVDO) serving in the Rockefeller, Moore and Caperton administrations.
Mr. Swint
is a former economic development columnist for Charleston Newspapers' Business Monthly and is a guest columnist to
several state daily newspapers.
Mr. Swint holds a Master Degree in Public Administration,
a Master Degree in Geography with a Regional Planning and Development emphasis, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
all from West Virginia University.
