Pegasus Transport Control Words

These tables document control words in the PMAIL.INI and PEGASUS.INI files. The title of each table is the name of the entry in the INI file. A "?" means I couldn't figure out the purpose of that power of two. An asterick in the default column means this setting is on by default.

In general, each of these options is associated with a power of 2, and you add all options together. The sum that results is the number that goes in the appropriate transport control word.

Knowing these values is useful for setting up a PMDFLTS.INI file. PMDFLTS.INI has the same format at PMAIL.INI, but sets the initial values for a user. PMDFLTS.INI is placed in the same directory as Pegasus Mail.

The -Z features are useful in the PEGASUS.INI and command line options. PEGASUS.INI sets the default values for the command line options. PEGASUS.INI is placed in the same directory as Pegasus Mail.

If you have any additions or corrections, please drop me a note.
