When creating a logo for Seattle Ski and Snowboard, I created a few mock ups. The only direction I had was that he wanted Mt. Rainier to be part of the logo. The top logo is a more basic, simple approach.

The lower logo was a bit more creative. I used the idea of a double "S" from Seattle Ski to look like ski lines.

Out of the two, the owner chose the top. He wanted to stay a bit simpler.
