About Knoz'em Computers, LLC

The origins of Knoz'em Computers, LLC is rather unusual.  First of all, I have been unable to get a decent job, even nearly two years after graduation from West Virginia University.  First of all, the economy has stunk like the devil in my area for over 23 years!  While I could have relocated, I also have a history of severe and degrading loneliness.  I am also the victim of widespread and secret job discrimination, probably largely due to facial appearance.  Unfortunately, this is a hard thing to prove in court.  Having a "disability" or disfigurement is much like having a mortal sin!  According to Monster.com, people with disabilities tend to have better luck with firing up their own business.  Only then are such individuals more appealing to the corporate world.

Given all the above situations, this kind of led the way for my own business.  Moreover, since many computers are getting gummed up with adware and spyware, there seems to be a big market for removal of such bad stuff.

As for the name of the business, this was thought of by a friend that I made at a Catholic charismatic prayer group in Morgantown, WV.  Since my last name is Nozum, which is pronounced NOZE uhm, she thought that a cool name would be Knoz'em, which would be like "He knows 'em!".

I am offering many types of services, including the following:

        - PC repair
        - Web site design
        - Virus removal
        - Adware / spyware removal
        - Photo digitizing / restoration
        - Miscellaneous 2D / 3D graphics
        - Teaching
        - PC backup / shoring up
        - Computer setups
        - Computer counseling
        - Technical consultation

Originally, I was not going to offer to do house calls.  In fact, I have not driven much until the Summer of 2004.  However, I still don't have that much experience.  As a result, I am limiting house calls to Moundsville and Glen Dale, WV.  I had at least 2-3 people tell me that I should do house calls, for some people may not want to tear down their computer system and bring it to my house.

Eventually, I hope that the company will grow, and I will have to hire at least 2-3 people.  If and when this happens, then  I will be able to expand operations.

Please note that while I don't look the "greatest", God has blessed me with a good brain!  In fact, if God came back and ask me "Do you want to exchange your brain for a better looking face?", I'd probably tell Him "No, I think I'll keep the brain!".
