Sheep & Wool Festival

Located where the Arlington Prairie meets the Wisconsin River Valley, Lodi is a picturesque location for sheep production.

Our family has been raising sheep in this area for 4 generations, all the way back to the pre-World War II era. Many different breeds have been raised on this land over the years, including numerous state and national champion animals. Glenn and Duane Richards have passed their knowledge and experience onto their children, grand children, and great-grand children who now follow in their footsteps under their guidance.

We invite you to take a look around and see what is currently taking place on our farms. We now breed Targhee and Southdown sheep, and raise a few market lambs as 4-H projects. Our breeding focuses on characteristics specific for the breeds - fine wool, correct confirmation, well-muscled frame, and reproductive proficiency.

We sell breeding stock, fleeces, and market lambs ready for processing. One taste of tender lamb chops or 100% lamb gyro meat will keep you coming back for more! Please contact us for prices and availability.

The USTSA and the Wisconsin Junior Targhee Sheep Association will agin be offering Starter Flocks to deserving youth in 2019!!

The USTSA Starter Flock will be awarded at the 2019 USTSA National Show & Sale, Lodi, Wisconsin, in July, and the application can be downloaded by clicking the highlighted link.

The WJTSA Starter Flock Program is open to youth who are residents of Wisconsin, and the application can be downloaded by clicking the highlighted link.
