Foreword

It all began about fifteen years ago when a pastor friend opened up a book by Clarence Larkin called Dispensational Truth.  Larkin’s diagramming of God’s Word was helpful along with the fact that his diagramming of past and future events according to time cycles or patterns seemed to suggest a short time left for the current age.  Things like this though were not discussed at church.  It was taboo.  From then on though a variety of prophetic books were studied in search of more answers because there seemed like there was more to understand or be revealed.

The 1990’s and late 1980’s saw a surge of apocalyptic books and some predicted dates, but those dates came and went.  After the year 2000 it seemed people had their fill of prophecy and the models of the predictors were scrapped.  Even with the occurrence of September 11th it seemed like few wanted to know how close it was to the Lord’s return or where they were at in history.  It was business as usual.

The time though had come for more ideas.  Many hours had been spent contemplating, but the breakthrough would come in March of 2002.  More time would be spent then looking at modern events and looking for a connection to the future.  Once the first piece of the puzzle was placed, the others fit together seamlessly.  When patterns were seen they were applied similarly with equal success.  Therefore, sometimes the equation was hypothesized, but it was not known if it really would equate.  When it proved equal over and over, it seemed time to write it all down to pass it along to others. This document as it stands now is short, to the point, and with many charts to help in the ease of communication.  The problem though is that it can be read too quickly without the chance to let the gravity of the subject take its effect.  As with anything, one needs to work through it checking on all of the correlations, calculations, and of course Scripture. After working on this for nine months, it has been convincing to me because all of the intricacies have been worked through with harmony.  But to be convinced by this paper is still not enough.

The challenge is a call to action in communicating God’s truth to the world that teeters on the brink of destruction.  It is time to tell people the gospel of Christ and of his coming Kingdom.  It is time to reach out and it is time to learn to reach out better.  Please read on if you are willing  to be challenged and have your perception of the future altered.

Chapter 1

What will be the Signs?

And as Jesus sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?”

Matthew 24:3

Almost two thousand years ago Jesus’ disciples asked him the question of what would be the sign of the end of the age.  Jesus gave them the answer called the Olivet Discourse found in Matthew 24.  It was a lengthy answer filled with specific information.  However, the signs he gave are often portrayed as somewhat ambiguous events that are undateable and therefore give us no certainty of the time in which we live.  Bible prophecy then becomes unclear and irrelevant and people then become complacent about the events that will soon engulf them.  Life goes on and things seem to remain the same.

However, the apostle Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5:4 that the time of the end should not be a surprise to those who follow Jesus and study God’s Word (Please see Appendix A, “No one knows the day or hour”).  Being caught off guard then is not what God has intended for us because he has always given times concerning His judgments.  A few good examples are the Flood of Noah, the servanthood in Egypt, the wandering in the wilderness, the Babylonian Captivity, and even the time in which Jesus would be crucified.  God has always let His people know, if they were willing to listen, when the time would come.  So the disciples asked Jesus and he gave them a sign as to when the end of the age would begin.

The first sign given of the end of the age was world war.  Jesus spoke of wars and rumors of wars, but then there would be world war--nations rising against nations.  This shift in scope then started with World War I and therefore it must be the sign of the end of the age.  From our standpoint this seems like a long time ago to be a relevant sign, but it simply shows that we are now eighty-nine years closer to the return of Christ than in 1914.  The question then is how long can this time of birth pangs or warning period of the end of the age be?  When we begin to think of all that has occurred in the world since 1914, we begin to see that it was the beginning of our present modern age--an age of international strife that has only grown more complex with a catalyst of anti-Semitism to ignite the whole mess.  It is out of this time that we have seen world wars and the return of the Jews to Israel.  In the end it will all come together just as the Bible had predicted.

The First Sign—The Time of World War

World War I  - 1914

See the chart -- Parallels of Judgment and Restoration 1

The significance of World War I, therefore, cannot be ignored or dismissed.  W.W.I was declared on the Jewish calendar day of the Ninth of Av (August 1, 1914).  The Germans and Russians declared war on each other, starting the plurality of nations rising against each other.  They joined Austria-Hungary who declared war on Serbia on July the 28th. Now it was a plurality of nations—and it would grow.

The Ninth of Av is the anniversary day in which Solomon and Herod’s temples were both destroyed by the Babylonians and Romans respectively in 587 BC and AD 70.  It is the most sorrowful day on the Jewish Calendar and many other events have occurred on this day. [1]   This day came first to be a time of mourning when the twelve spies returned from their mission of spying out the land for Israel and Moses.  Ten of the twelve put fear into the hearts of Israel and Israel rebelled because they lacked confidence in God. [2]   However, there is another “coincidence” to 1914.

The time of the 9th of Av in 1914 is 2,520 years from the time in which King Nebuchadnezzer conquered the Kingdom of Judah in the spring of 606 BC.  Why is it 2,520 years?  The first way to arrive at this number is to examine Daniel chapters 2 and 4.  For seven years or 2,520 days (7 times 360) [3] , God made Nebuchadnezzer insane possibly to represent the length of time the Gentile kings would rule over Israel and trample her.  It is interesting that out of W.W.I. came the way for Jews to return to Israel.  The year of 1914 then is a landmark year that started the beginning of the end, the sign that Jesus gave.  That though was only the beginning of the signs—the contractions of the labor process had begun. [4]

Hanukkah in Jerusalem – 1917

Please see the chart -- The Times of Jerusalem

On Hanukkah of 1917 something happened that should have caught a lot of peoples’ attention.  Jerusalem was handed over by the Turks to the British without a shot being fired.  On December 11, 1917, General Allenby walked into the City of Jerusalem after its surrender, opening the way for a Jewish homeland.  It was Kislev the 26th and the eve of which begins the day of gift giving.

Just prior to this moment of time the Balfour Declaration had been made in November of 1917 to pave the way for a Jewish homeland.  Twenty years earlier in 1897 the Zionist movement had begun in a desire to go back to Israel.  The spark behind the Balfour Declaration was a “Zionist scientist” who was obviously Jewish.  He literally saved Britain in W.W.I. by inventing TNT, which cut their need to import other materials.  Britain in their appreciation wanted to grant the inventor’s desire for a Jewish homeland.  With Jerusalem being handed over in such a way on a specific day, it cannot be a coincidence, but another sign pointing to the final blessed status of Jerusalem some years later.

The Rise of Hitler & Anti-Semitism - 1933

See the chart -- Parallels of Judgment and Restoration 1

However, the usual problems occurred after 1917 like what we have seen today with a Jewish homeland--namely that the neighboring Moslems are anti-Jew.  The end result was that immigration was not as easy as it should have been for what would be needed.  It was needed because in January of 1933 the rise of Hitler began when he became Chancellor of Germany and then he became Dictator only two months later.  With a rapid pace he tried to restore the former glory of Germany at the expense of everyone else--especially the Jews.  The pivotal date of 1933 happened to land exactly on Passover day.  It was on April 11, 1933 that the laws were passed for the restoration to the Germans and the defining of who a Jew was.  The rest is of course history, but it is a history lesson that the world is quickly forgetting or has already forgotten.

Though not the Antichrist in any shape or form, Hitler was a wicked man and he bought into the big lie--the hatred of God’s people.  Through his evil the world would erupt yet again into world war.  It is said World War II was simply an extension of World War I.  That is very interesting because this time of 1933 is also 2,520 years from a significant moment in Jewish history like 1914 was.

That moment of history was 587 BC--the time that Jerusalem and its temple were destroyed by the Babylonians. [5]   As was previously mentioned, this occurred on the ninth of Av in 587 BC.  The rise of Hitler and World War I are therefore linked to the conquering of the Southern Kingdom of Israel (Judah) by king Nebuchadnezzer and the Babylonians.  It is a parallel of connections to similar events that brought judgment to the Jews.

The Babylonian Connection-- 606 & 587 BC

It actually all began prior to King Saul’s coronation as king of Israel in 1096 BC.  God had told Israel that they were to have no king like the other nations.  One big reason was that kings were heavy tax burdens on their subjects since they would build large palaces and try to imitate the neighboring countries’ expensive policies.  Strangely enough God was right and He would end up invoking Leviticus 25 and 26 with respect to the Sabbath year. [6]   This is because once Israel had a king they never observed the Sabbath year again.  After 490 years it was enough and God would make sure that the land of Israel would rest again.  1096 BC was 490 years prior to 606 BC and now God would require seventy years of rest.

The seventy years would be two-pronged.  In 606 BC the first exile would begin with the “cream of the crop” going to Babylon.  This first exile included Daniel, who would reveal some of the most significant prophecies concerning the times of the Gentiles and its effect on the Jews.  He was part of the seventy year Babylonian captivity.  Nineteen years later king Nebuchadnezzer would march to Jerusalem and destroy it in 587 BC.   This would begin the seventy years of desolations for Jerusalem.  For seventy years it would lie in ruin.

This two-pronged judgment of Israel therefore is connected in parallel to the signs of World Wars I and II by 2,520 years.  The first prong was more of a warning, but it was the second prong that brought the ruin in both cases for the Jewish people.  The destruction of Jerusalem in 587 BC and the Nazi persecution starting in 1933 are indeed moments of Jewish history to be considered seriously.

God though is a loving God and ended each of the seventy-year periods associated with Babylon.  Babylon would be destroyed and the next Gentile kingdom of the Medes and Persians would assist the Jews to return to the Land of Israel.  The return though would be a far cry from the way things were before.  The rebuilt temple was inferior to Solomon’s and the Jews mostly stayed in the countries they had been exiled to by the Babylonians.  As Daniel revealed it would be the time of the Gentile kingdoms until the Kingdom Age of the Messiah would begin—the stone cut without human hands. [7]

Understanding this sets the stage for the next two prongs that come from the end of the seventy years.  The sign from these prongs was again one mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24.  Of course it should not be surprising to find out that Jesus knew what he was talking about.

The Second Sign - The Regathering of Israel

The Parable of the Fig Tree

In Matthew 24 after Jesus gave the sign that world war would begin the birthing process of the end of the age, he speaks of the events of the Tribulation and the Abomination of Desolation mentioned in Daniel chapter 9.  He then concludes it with the sign of His coming at the end of the Tribulation.  However, he then gives another sign that precedes the coming events of the Tribulation.  It is the parable of the fig tree.

There are many debates as to what a fig tree represents.  Most would identify the symbolism with the nation of Israel.  Other views have included the teaching of God’s Word (Torah) by the Jews or that it simply represents the events Jesus spoke about.  Maybe the best solution is to look at Jesus’ cursing of the fig tree in Jerusalem just prior to this discourse on the Mount of Olives (incidentally, this will be the first place Jesus sets foot on when he returns at the end of the Tribulation).

On the day of the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, Jesus cursed a fig tree since it had no fruit for him, but it was out of season.  The best account is given in Mark 11:12-21 to see the chronology.  The fig tree, though, is cursed on the very day Jesus was presented to Israel as the unblemished lamb on the 10th of Nisan AD 32.  He, however, was rejected and wept over Jerusalem that day because Israel missed the time and was now blinded. [8]   So the fig tree was cursed in like manner as a symbolism of what was happening that day.  There was nothing wrong with the fig tree in itself since it was simply out of season.  What was wrong was Israel. [9]

So Jesus’ parable, it seems, speaks of Israel coming back to land first, but the fruit of it will not come until the time of the summer harvest.  The generation upon which the Tribulation is coming will then see Israel reestablished as a nation before the Tribulation.  It only makes sense to set the stage.  This then is the second sign.

Israel is Reborn - 1948

See the chart -- Parallels of Judgment and Restoration 1

The Jews then did obtain an official homeland on May 14, 1948.  Out of the ashes of World War II came the Jews as depicted in the book of Ezekiel chapter 36 and 37. Much like the withered fig tree, the dried up bones of Israel came together to form an army after all hope had been lost after Israel’s dispersion.  No other nation destroyed like Israel has ever come back from the graveyard of nations, but they did.

Turning one’s attention then to the book of Ezekiel chapter 4, there is an odd command of God to Ezekiel to lay on one side for 390 days and the other side for 40 days--each day to represent a year of judgment.  That therefore makes 430 years of judgment that has no historical fulfillment, or does it?   What seems to be going on here is that 70 of the 430 years were fulfilled by the Babylonian Captivity leaving 360 years to go.  The return of the Jews to their land was one of unbelief and it seems that God multiplied their remaining 360 years by seven according to the book of Leviticus chapter 26.   This then would be 2,520 years similar to those that led up to 1914.  The amazing thing is that their 70-year captivity [10] that transpired in 537 BC until the time of May 14, 1948 is 2,520 years. [11]

The fig tree was springing to life, just as Jesus foretold.  Amazingly it occurred 2,520 years after they had returned from Babylon.  This then is three uses of this time span from Babylon to the time of the birth pangs.  Just as the first two were paired, so is this one.  The next sign would therefore be linked to Israel again.

Jerusalem in Israeli Hands - 1967

See the chart -- Parallels of Judgment and Restoration 1

The next major event was the Six Day War of June 7, 1967, where against all odds--Israel defeated her enemies who vastly outnumbered her.  The Islamic enemies of Israel had tried to destroy her, but she only got larger and still possesses these lands as of today--the lands she took from her aggressors.  It is at this time that Israel gained full control of Jerusalem. The Old City and the Temple Mount were now in Jewish hands.

However, a few days after June 7th, Moshe Dayan relinquished control of the Temple Mount to the Wakf. [12]  He was scared in a way much like the twelve spies of long ago.  The report of the spies to Moses led to Israel’s rebellion and they were then condemned to forty years in the wilderness to die.  This was to kill all who were 20 or older to make way for a generation that would go in and seize the land.  Joshua and Caleb were the only exceptions.  There is more to be learned on this later.

This day though of June 7, 1967 comes 2,520 (360-day) years or 907,200 days after rebuilding began on the second temple in 518 BC.  This time of 518 BC marked the end of the 70 years of the desolations of Jerusalem which began in 587 BC. [13]   Another interesting point is that 1967 occurred 50 years after Jerusalem was handed to the British to supposedly give it to the Jews in 1917.  In 1967 the opportunity was there again, but Israel was not ready.  Fifty years is the length of one Jubilee.  June 7, 1967 was another date of a sign with precise timing, but the signs have been mostly minimized as to their importance.

This sign of Jerusalem then completed the second prong, which speaks of return and restoration.  Like the return under Cyrus in 537 BC, the return in 1948 was incomplete and one of unbelief.  Like 518 BC and the rebuilding of the temple, so was 1967 and the gaining of Jerusalem—there was much left to be desired.  What looked like a great thing, the full manifestation of it was yet to come.  These events were signs of things to come as Jesus had said on the Mount of Olives.

Chapter 2

Connecting the Dots

This then brings up an interesting point: Are there time periods from these dates of 1914, 1917, 1933, 1948, and 1967 that would lead us to wonder when the final time will come?  Others have tried from a different perspective, but time passed their dates by and unfortunately disillusioned many.  With hindsight bias there are those who stand to criticize those who thought about such important things.  However, it is believed here that the hindsight bias should help us to better evaluate and narrow down the possibilities. So let us evaluate some of the past proposals.

One date proposed was 1988 since a generation was said to be forty years and Israel was created in 1948. [14]   1988, however, has come and gone, but a generation does not have to be 40 years.  A generation can be 40, 70, or 100 years.  So, was 1948 the correct year on which to base 40 years?  Apparently here the shorter time of 40 was not the right choice, but perhaps another is in view.  This brings up the point that people always tend to look to the near future as the time for the return of Christ.  If they are looking for him in hope they tend to want him to come quickly, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but it might make them wrong.

Then came the proposal of 1993 as the start date of the seven-year Tribulation, which would end in the year 2000. [15]   This proposal examined Hosea 6, which spoke of two days of discipline for Israel, and each day was taken to be a thousand years according to Second Peter.  So if the birth of Christ was in the year 1 BC, AD 2000 was 2000 years completed to start the third blessed day--the Millennial reign of Christ for 1000 years.  AD 2000 was also seen as the end of the sixth millennium from creation to then enter the Sabbath day of 1000 years.  This proposal also said from 520 BC (rebuilding of the temple, instead of 518 BC) until AD 2000 was another period of 2,520 years (of the 365.2422 day variety), but this is actually 2,519 years.  The point though is that the proposal missed, but there were many valid ideas and time periods again that needed to be reworked and not discarded.  Most of course opted for the discard.

There were other proposals in the 90’s, but the next one that warranted careful consideration believed that the Tribulation started in 1999.  This stemmed from the fact that the Millennium of 1000 years included the seven year tribulation at the beginning because they are both called the “Day of the Lord”.  A differing date of the birth of Christ slid the timing up one year and therefore this like the previous proposal hinged largely on the time of the birth of Christ with little corroboration from the present dates of the twentieth century--as we have seen.  To use modern dates, however, would leave no room for manipulation and would allow us to be precise even to the very day. So 1999 came and went with Y2K and the shelves seem empty anymore of fresh ideas, or at least reworked ideas, of what is going on in the world as the time comes closer and closer.

It is my proposal that all of the modern dates that we have seen point to the time of the end.  As signs they have a linkage to the future.  By analyzing past cycles of years used in the Bible, it is possible to find out some amazing discoveries.

As we saw 1914 is 2,520 years from 606 BC, but what if we advance the last known possible time given in the Bible for a generation--100 years.  This is about all the options that are left since it has now been 89 years.  One hundred years would place us at the 9th of Av 2014 as a possible date for a very sorrowful day in Jewish history.  The same thing then could possibly go for 1917, which would place us at Hanukkah 2017 as a possible date for something to celebrate.  So how could these dates be significant?

The Unsealing of Daniel

To go any further we must develop a model of the Tribulation from the Book of Daniel (please see the chart – Jacob’s Trouble).  This will be key and is what opened the door to this study.  In Daniel there are times given concerning the last half of the Tribulation of seven years.  We know that the Tribulation is seven years because in Daniel 9 the Antichrist enforces a covenant for seven years, but causes desolation to occur halfway in the seven years.  Jesus talked about this in Matthew 24 and it is at the end of the seven years that Jesus returns to end the Tribulation, which is 1,260 days [16] after the Abomination of Desolation.  This is Jesus cutting short the days to spare mankind.

However there are other times of Daniel given as 1,290 and 1,335 days. [17]   Here then is thirty more days that the temple is in shambles or the Jews are in mourning to arrive at 1,290 days.  The final time of 1,335 days would take us 75 more days until it can be sure that those alive will see the Millennial kingdom of Christ.

Another time in Daniel is given as 2,300 evenings and mornings which would be 1,150 days. [18]   This is the time that it takes from the destruction of the third temple by the Antichrist until Jesus returns to end the Tribulation.  Therefore, a model can be developed with these days to find out when these significant events occur in the Tribulation.

It is fairly widely held that the Tribulation ends on the Day of Atonement.  This is the day Israel will look up in the Heavens and see Jesus returning with the Church—the Bride of Christ—and all Israel will believe and be saved.  The Day of Atonement is one of the Fall Jewish Festivals that has not been fulfilled.  Taking the 1,260 days backward from then will lead us to the Feast of Firstfruits (Easter) in some years.  This is because the Jewish year is lunar based and adds leap months from time to time.  In those years that support these dates, the times of Daniel flow seamlessly.  The 1,335 days from Firstfruits lands three and a half years later on the third day of Hanukkah—the gift giving day.  The 1,150 days or 2,300 evenings and mornings fits between the ninth of Av and the Day of Atonement three years later—the end of the Tribulation.

Therefore, the calculations of Daniel point to the significance of the Jewish holidays of Firstfruits and Atonement, Hanukkah, and the ninth of Av.  The time periods of Daniel can, in other words, fit only one way between these days exactly.  The fact that 1914 and 1917 highlights two of these days is curious.  It is even more curious that the order and spacing of them fits the spacing as indicated by the book of Daniel.  The keys of Daniel, therefore, unlocked the significance of the first sign.  To uniformly advance to some anniversary date, the sequence could fit only if the year was right according to the variable Jewish calendar.  This was the first piece of the puzzle that caught my eye, because signs occurring on important days are not left to chance and especially if they fit the model developed out of Daniel.  Some though may ask what is so important about these Jewish Feasts?

I must briefly mention the fact that Israel has seven feast days which were given by God to remember their history, but more importantly to rehearse what would come (please see the chart—Seven Feasts of Israel). [19]   Their holy days are Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles.  When Jesus came the first time around the first four of these were fulfilled on the very day they occurred.  Jesus died on Passover, sin was purged on the day of Unleavened Bread, the Resurrection occurred on Firstfruits, and the Church began on the day of Pentecost.  The last three will be the same way with his return and these occur in the Jewish month of Tishri which lands somewhere in September/October based upon the phases of the moon.  Those feasts are Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles.  So as has been seen, the periods of Daniel hinge off of these fall festival days, namely the Day of Atonement.

The Day of Atonement is the day where Christ returns and saves all of Israel that remains alive at the end of the Tribulation.  If we go back from that day 1260 days, we should land on the day that the Antichrist will attempt to use to portray himself as God--a false resurrection of himself with the aid of Satan.  This happens to be the day of Firstfruits--the anniversary day Jesus was raised from the dead.  The problem, however, is that this day is always on a Sunday (the day after the Sabbath after Passover) which means the day of the month is always changing.  When Christ resurrected it was the 17th of Nisan AD 32. [20] , just as the Ark of Noah rested on the mountains of Ararat on the 17th of Nisan.  However, to have 1,260 days between Firstfruits (Easter) and Atonement, the day of Firstfruits has to occur on the 20th of Nisan.  This happens strangely to occur very frequently over the next 15 years at the rate of seven times. [21]   However, only four of these years can work because there can only be one leap month allowed to occur in the final three and a half years--to keep the time correct as specified by Daniel. [22]

If we therefore move a uniform time that the Bible uses, will we land in the time of the Jewish calendar, but where will work?  If we advance the final time of a generation (being one hundred years), then from the ninth of Av 1914 would land us at the ninth of Av in 2014.  The same would go for 1917, landing us at the third day of Hanukkah 2017.  Does it work? It sure does.

The 2014 & 2017 Connection

The reason in short for supporting 2014 to 2017 as the time of the final three and a half years is this:

1.  Firstfruits 2014 to Atonement 2017 are 1260 days.

2.  Firstfruits 2014 to Hanukkah 2017 are 1335 days.

3.  The 9th of Av 2014 to Atonement 2017 are 1150 days.

4.  The 9th of Av 2014 is 100 years after the 9th of Av 1914.

5.  Hanukkah 2017 is 100 years after Hanukkah 1917 and 50 years after June 7, 1967.

In this list the time between the dates works out to the very day and the 100 years is the highest one can go on a generation.  Notice also that the 100 years are solar (365.2422 days to the year) like the 2,520 years previous to 1914.  The key then is consistency and to see if the other dates and timings can work with this hypothesis (See Appendix B).

Here it must be noted that from the 11th of Av 2014 until Atonement 2017 is actually 1150 days, but does tie into the ninth of Av.  Apparently the destruction will be like the others where the fires lasted through the tenth of Av, so the count begins from the end of the destruction.  With all of the past parallels of 587 BC and AD 70, this would seem fitting.

The 1973 & 2003 Connection

After 1914 and 1917 the next significant date was 1933 and the rise of Hitler.  This date was also arrived at by the use of solar years--2,520 of them from the time Jerusalem and the Temple were destroyed in 587 BC.  If we advance 40 years from 1933 we arrive at 1973.  In 1973 was the Yom Kippur War where the Arabs attacked Israel yet again.  Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement and this should raise an eyebrow or two.  It fits a pattern like everything else, but is there more?  Seventy years is also number to consider and from 1933 that would place us at 2003.  Is there any significance to 2003?  There may be a hint found in the book of Hosea.

After 2 Days - 2000 Years

In Hosea chapter 6 there is a period of two days of judgment for Israel, but it says that on the third day God would raise them up so that they could live in His sight.  Those who have understood this as a prophetic passage coupled this with Psalm 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8 where a day is a thousand years.  This makes sense out of Peter’s emphasis on the thousand-year principle while he is writing concerning the end times.

Therefore, for two thousand years the Jews would have to wait before the one thousand years of Heaven on Earth that the millennial rule of Christ would bring.  So far most people have started this sequence from the birth of Christ since his birth was extremely close to being four thousand years after the creation of Adam.  The latest date for Christ’s birth is 1 BC and two thousand years after that would be the fall of AD 2000.  This does not work now since it is AD 2003.  However, if the two thousand years were converted to 360-day years like has been seen, we would have 1971.295 solar years.  If we take this time and start instead from the time of Pentecost AD 32, the time the Church was born ten days after Jesus ascended into Heaven, we arrive ten days before the Feast of Trumpets in the year 2003 (please see the chart—The Church, The Diaspora). [23]

Using the year of AD 32 makes more sense since the Jewish rejection began officially at Jesus’ death, not his birth.   This would seem to be a better interpretation in light of Daniel 9 in that Messiah would be cut off  (pointing to his death) after 69 weeks (483 years = 69 x 7) and also that this uses a similar 360-day year.  This is the time of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, when he chastised the people for not knowing “the day of their visitation”.  The Messiah was presented on Sunday, the 10th of Nisan, as the Lamb without blemish.  So if this is correct, the Feast of Trumpets 2003 is a good first candidate for the time of the Rapture--the taking away of the Church.  This is because it is now time for Israel to begin again.  It must be remembered, however, that Hosea 6 says “after” which may allow for some time, but it could be just ten days. [24]

There is also another factor from the year 518 BC when the desolations of Jerusalem ended.  As was seen, 1967 was 2,520 (360-day) years later.  However, 2003 is 2,520 solar years from 518 BC.  The question though is can it be both ways when it doesn’t seem to be like that in any other case.  Still it is something to bear in mind and if it is, it could point to Jerusalem being more of a blessing to Israel in 2003.

One other factor is that the year 2003 is 4000 years from the death of Noah.  As will be seen, the time of Noah’s death comes at a crossroads.  This idea will be dealt with later.

Those who have looked at this though may wonder how 2003 can fit with 2014 and 2017.  The model for 2014 and 2017 would put the seven year Tribulation starting in 2010 meaning that 2003 is a whole seven years earlier, so how could it fit?  Is there a biblical pattern that might fit two periods of seven years?

The Good, the Bad, and Jacob’s Trouble

One possibility is the fact that the Tribulation is also called “the time of Jacob’s trouble”.  Now Jacob became known as Israel and he was the father of the twelve tribes.  Jacob had two wives, but initially he wanted only the one who was known as Rachel.  Jacob was to serve seven years for her, but Laban tricked him and he married Leah instead.  Jacob was upset, but went ahead and served another seven years to finally get Rachel.  Often people have seen a parallel with the second time of Rachel’s week and the seven years of the Tribulation.  But what if the parallel to the story was fourteen years?  The year 2003 is fourteen years prior to the year 2017.  Does the first seven years Jacob served for Rachel (to then be tricked by Laban to wind up with Leah) parallel the first more pleasant seven years to then be tricked into a seven-year covenant with the Antichrist to get the final peace prize of death in disguise?  Or is it more or less to it than that?

Another period of fourteen years is again associated with Jacob, which is told through the eyes of Joseph.  This is Joseph’s famous dream of the seven fat and seven lean years.  The first seven were good in that food could be stored up to prepare for the seven bad years of famine.  It was during the famine that Jacob (Israel) left their land to go to Egypt (like going to Jordan in the Tribulation) to be fed and “find” Joseph (Jesus—Joseph is a picture of the suffering servant) who they thought was dead.  Then Joseph was reunited with Benjamin (the son of the right hand—a picture of Christ as king) who were both from Rachel—the representative of the last seven years.  Could this be a similar story to the one that will occur to modern Israel between 2003 and 2017? The whole story of Joseph is a fantastic picture of Jesus from servant to king and his kin rediscovering him after trials they go through.

It can be also noted that Noah and his family were sealed in the Ark seven days before the Flood actually began. [25]   If the Flood represents the Tribulation, then there is a period of seven before the Tribulation, if that analogy is correct.  Another analogy is that the Church is like Enoch, who was “raptured” by God to the heavens prior to the Flood (by 669 years).  The seven days in the Ark before the Flood would be the Tribulation.  Either way it would point to a time needed between the Rapture and the Tribulation.

Perhaps 2003 to 2010 could be a time of blessing for Israel. The time where God stops the armies of Magog (Ezekiel 38 & 39) and the surrounding nations to bring Israel spoil and pave a way to rebuild the Temple.  Could it then be the time the old nations from the Roman Empire come together to rule the world from ten kingdoms? This being after the vacuum was created by the Magog War, which involved the U.S. Allies, Russian Allies, and the Islamic States.  As the stage is being set, Israel may prosper until the moment the Antichrist takes over the new global government and confirms a covenant with Israel.  Until that time, however, many things must happen in the political sphere before the seven bad years can begin as has been briefly mentioned.  It would seem though that God would use this time to prepare Israel for what lies ahead.  The time where another Elijah comes to restore God’s Word to His people before the Day of the Lord.

The Day of the Lord

What is the Day of the Lord then?  It is the seventh day of rest for one thousand years.  However, the Day of the Lord also refers to the judgments found in the seven year Tribulation that precedes the thousand years.  That would make the Day of the Lord at least 1007 years, which would seem to call Peter’s math in 2 Peter 3 to be rounded and not exact.  Or is that splitting hairs?  There may be a solution, though, that is hidden in the difference between a 360 day year verses a 365.2422 day year of the modern era.  If the 1000 years that begin after the Tribulation are of the 360-day variety, it would come to 985.65 solar years.  That means a solar based Day of the Lord would be 14.35 years longer, which could fit the 14-year scenario of the seven good, and seven bad years [26] .  Under that scenario the Day of the Lord (solar) would start on Rosh Hashanah with the Day of the Lord (360 day year) starting fourteen years later.

However, we cannot be sure with this theory when the Day of the Lord would officially start.  If it occurred in 2003 then Elijah had better hurry.  Maybe the Day of the Lord starts a few years after the Rapture of the Church as a time for Israel’s revival under Elijah.  Whatever the case, the fourteen-year difference is something to wonder about and maybe put on the back shelf.  Irregardless, the year 2003 looked strong for a Rapture date because:

1. It is 2000 360-day years from AD 32 (Hosea 6) to then start a revival in Israel.

2. It is 70 years from 1933 (rise of Hitler) and a similar launch of the Antichrist’s career with the Restrainer removed (2 Thessalonians 2).

3. It is 2520 years from 518 BC (Temple rebuilding).

4. It is on a Sabbath Day.

5. It is 4000 years from the death of Noah.

6. It fits the theme of two seven-year periods and works            in the calendar in time and spacing.

The way these periods of time work out it obviously speaks of resurrection with maybe the start of the rise of Antichrist, though other political events must occur first to really bring him onto the world’s stage as a power player.  This would occur since the Church as the restrainer is gone [27] and that God would start to move in Israel.  The key to understanding this is found then in the book of Ezekiel.

The start of God’s dealing with Israel comes in the form of Him disciplining Russia and her allies from Europe to the Islamic states when they try to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth.  Even those who should have supported Israel will suffer in what will probably be a short, but highly destructive war—mostly from the hand of God.  This is detailed in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39.  The key at this point to understand here is that this is the wake up call for the Jews and the rest of the world.  Against incalculable odds, Israel will be victorious with no one’s help but God’s.  It is at this point that God’s Word will find an audience with the Jewish people. [28]

The World, however, will be in great political upheaval since the powers of the North (Russia); the West (U.S. and Britain) and the other Russian allies will be in shambles.  That leaves the former states of the Roman Empire and the Far East to jockey for position.  It will be the Roman states that are said to conquer the world in ten kingdoms for awhile before the Antichrist takes control, which would then lead to the final seven years of the Tribulation.

Chapter 3

The Floodgates Open
 on a Day of Noah

For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water. Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.  But the heavens and earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

                                                            2 Peter 3:5-7

So what could be the start date of this whole mess?  What is the day that God’s work in Israel is clearly seen after the Church has departed to heaven?  Of all time periods the use of forty days or years is without parallel in the Bible.  The first use of forty was the days and nights of rain at the time of the flood of Noah.  Keeping in mind the importance of these facts and looking for a fulfillment from the last of the four major dates of the twentieth century, we can make a startling discovery.

The date of June 7, 1967 will therefore come into sharp focus as pivotal.  This day is 2,520 (360-day) years after 518 BC.  If we advance the period of 40 years, of again 360 days (for consistency), we arrive at November 8, 2006--to the very day.  The significance of this day is that on the Jewish calendar it is the seventeenth of Heshevan.  This is the day in which the rains began the great Flood of Noah--the last great judgment of the world.  It would seem fitting that the first major event of the next judgment would start on this day.  The fact that 40 years or 14,400 days lands precisely on this day should cause us to take a moment of deep consideration.  However, there is more to this date.

This date of November 8, 2006 comes at an intersection of time from three important people of the Bible.  Those people are Adam, Noah, and Jesus.  Using Archbishop Ussher’s chronology (based only on the Bible) we find that Noah died 2006 years after the creation of Adam.  Jesus was born 4003 years after the creation of Adam.  The year 2006 is 4003 years after the death of Noah and 2006 years after the birth of Jesus.  In effect it is like a time parallelogram (see the chart – A Parallelogram of Time) pointing to a fourth corner which represents the beginning of the end—November 8, 2006—the 17th of Heshevan.  It is, however, not the beginning of the Tribulation since that starts four years later.  It is probably the beginning of the Russian (Magog) campaign.  Again there must be some awe for another similar “coincidence”, which happens to involve Noah again (Jesus did say it would be just like the days of Noah).  There is again more to this day I believe.

On this day of November 8, 2006, the 17th of Heshevan, there is a planetary alignment to make matters again more interesting.  On this day the Sun is in the constellation of Libra (scales of judgment) with Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter.  The seventh light--Saturn (the Sabbath)--is in Leo which is the constellation of Royalty or the city of Jerusalem.  The second light--the moon (renewal, repentance)--is traveling through Taurus--the constellation that speaks of the Atonement by Day of the Lord.  This then seems to be a third witness to the importance of this date.  When dates and planets align it may be time to take heed much like the Wise Men.

This day of the 8th of November appears to be very significant and what event will transpire is only an educated estimation.  My assumption is that if the war of Magog is the waking moment for the Jews, a time where it is plainly obvious that God is at work in the land again, then its timing is probably here.  The destruction of Magog would not be complete, though, until Purim of 2007 since the valley of the dead foreign soldiers in Israel is named after Haman.  Haman tried to have the Jews killed on this day during the Medo-Persian Empire (but he and his conspirators died).  Purim is also seven months prior to the Feast of Tabernacles, which seems to show that their cleansing of their country leads up to a dedication of the rebuilding of their Temple [29] .  It also seems to make sense out of the seven-year period of the burning of weapons. [30]   If they start in the spring of 2007, it would end in the spring of 2014, which would be the time Israel flees to the wilderness to hide from the Antichrist.

A Return and Rebellion- 2007

There is also another significant date and that is July 3, 2007.  This day is the 17th of Tammuz on the Jewish calendar that year and it is precisely sixty (360-day) years or 21,600 days from May 14, 1948--the time Israel was established as a nation.  This timeline which began with Israel’s return in 537 BC and to return again 2,520 years later in 1948, seems to suggest another return associated with a day of mourning--the seventeenth of Tammuz. [31]

This would be during the time of burial cleanup after the Magog war.  It would be a time of shock much like our September 11th, but intensified.  It will be a time of soul searching and a feeling of vulnerability, if God is not trusted to preserve them.  That this day is highlighted seems to suggest that Israel will return to the golden calf mentality of the Exodus generation or that something will be sorrowful.  Could this be the start of the cries for peace and safety?

If the warfare mentioned in Ezekiel is fire whether it is from heaven (meteors) or from nuclear weapons, it will be devastating and will play into the delusion of the Antichrist who will come to bring peace and safety. [32]   Perhaps it will be passed off as Armageddon to those who know a little enough Bible prophecy to be dangerous.  The final return though would be in ten more years to make it seventy years.

The year 2007 under this proposal will therefore start with a Mid-East campaign by the Russians (Rosh), Germans (Gomer), and Islamic states against Israel (please see the chart, War of Ezekiel, for the list of nations).  The U.S. and her allies (Tarshish and her lions (the nations that came out of her)) will somehow be weakened at this point to not aid Israel except by empty words.  Purim 2007 stands out because of the significance of November 8, 2006 and July 3, 2007.  The naming of the battlefield Hamon-Gog (after Haman in the story of Esther) would suggest a Purim “coincidence”.  As can be seen in the chart, Fourteen Years of Servitude, this allows for seven years to burn the weapons before Israel must flee to the wilderness.  As this research has progressed, there have been other “coincidences” that seem to point to Purim 2007.

One side note is the fact that the Gulf War ended abruptly on Purim 1991 by George Bush.  It is interesting that George W. Bush’s forty-eight hour warning to Iraq was given on Purim.  Will the dust finally clear in the Middle East on Purim four years later?   What does that say about the current U.S. role in Iraq?  Could the rapture in 2003 put the skids on it because the current administration has many Christians in it?  Could this explain the lack of backbone the U.S. and her allies seem to exhibit from the pages of Ezekiel, since by then questionable leaders may be at the helm?

In analyzing Ezekiel and the list of nations according to the ancient names, it cannot be said for sure if Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, or Syria is involved.  That is if they are not among the phrase, “and many nations with you”.  It would seem logical that if they were involved, their ancient names would have been listed.  As of this writing it would seem like the only problem would be with Syria, but somehow they will be neutralized through war or a change of heart. [33]   Maybe there will be an awakening among the Arab Muslims once the rapture has occurred.  Time will tell.

Another other factor in Purim 2007 is seen in the chart--Comet Communication.  As can be seen, there is a trend of major comets at intervals of ten years since 1976.  1996 was a big year with Hyakutake and Hale-Bopp, but it was Hale-Bopp that announced something very significant.  It was a warning shot to the world.  Its significance is that at its brightest point there occurred a lunar eclipse on the Spring Equinox, which happened to be Purim of 1997.  The fact that this would be precisely ten years before Purim 2007 is as startling as all of the other “coincidences”.  It is also interesting that three other lunar eclipses occurred around this time on the Jewish holy days of Passover and Tabernacles [34] .  In fact the time of the eclipses at Jerusalem made them appear blood red due to their position in the refracted red light.  Coupled with this was the fact that according to Archbishop Ussher’s chronology, this would be 6000 years from the creation of Adam.

What is intriguing is the nature in which this war in the Mid-East will come to an end.  In Ezekiel it says God sends fire on the Motherland of Russia and on those of the distant Islands (presumably Tarshish and her lions—Britain and the U.S.).  The question has come up,  “is this nuclear or from space?”  With the “coincidental” timing of Hale-Bopp, it would seem probable to conclude that God would send a comet to accomplish such a feat.  This is of course something that the movies have tried to portray and have even called it “Armageddon”, though nothing could be further from the truth.  Armageddon under this proposal wouldn’t conclude until 2017.   It is also probably a comet that helps stop the war because God knocks down the arrows (missiles) of Russia. [35]   These then could not reach the U.S., so it must be something else then—probably a comet that comes close enough to throw some asteroids our way.  The effect though would be much the same without the nuclear contamination.

When one thinks of astronomical events, a person cannot help but think of the book of Revelation chapter 8 and the mention of the “hail” (meteors), the “mountain” (asteroid), and “Wormwood”  (a star or comet).  Though these events would happen later in the time known as the Great Tribulation, there may be a tie in to the comet that may pass by in 2007.  There are many conjectures here, but it is worth looking at with an open mind.  The discussion of Wormwood in Revelation appears that this “star” is known by name.  Some may assume that this could be Satan, but its destruction appears to be astronomical in nature, as is the hail and mountain mentioned in the immediate context.  The question, however, is how this name is known? Could it be known by the fact that it had made a previous pass by Earth, which affected its orbit and received a name at that time?  In Russian, “Wormwood” is known as “Chernobyl” and one wonders if the fire from heaven in 2007 on Russia could affect Chernobyl or have effects similar to Chernobyl in the Russian mind and then reoccur to a greater extent 10 years later.  Or the 2007 event could be unlinked to Wormwood and a different object altogether.

In the end, in the year 2006 on the Jewish day that the Flood of Noah began (17th of Heshevan), there appears to be the start of a time of judgment that lasts until Hanukkah 2017 (26th / 27th of Kislev).  With that in mind further ground can be broken.

2010—The Final Seven

Please see the chart “A Mathematical Correlation

The Tribulation though is only seven years and the time from 2006 to 2017 is eleven plus years.  The trouble is that going back from the 26th of Hanukkah 2017 2,595 (2,520+75) [36] days, we arrive at November 8, 2010 with no significant Jewish day ascribed—simply Kislev the 1st.  It may be significant that this day is exactly four years from November 8, 2006 (17th of Heshevan), but there seemed like there should be more “proof”.  I noticed that the 1st of Kislev lands between the days of the 17th of Heshevan and the 26th of Kislev and wondered if there might be a ratio involved--a proportion of time between two similar judgments.  In other words would these two separate time periods correlate to each other?

When the Flood began it was the 17th of Heshevan and rained for forty days and forty nights.  The Bible does not say what day it ended on, but mathematically the rain would have stopped at the end of the 26th of Kislev by counting from the first day (17th of Heshevan) to the 40th day (26th of Kislev).  So if the time of judgment begins on the 17th of Heshevan 2006 and ends on the 26th of Kislev 2017, there is a parallel with the dates of the rain and one wonders if there might be an associated ratio.  For the ratio to work, the day of November 8, 2010, which is the 1st of Kislev, should correlate to the 1st of Kislev on the 40-day scale of judgment represented by the 40 days of rain.  From the 17th of Heshevan 2006 to the 26th of Kislev 2017 is 4,056 days and from the 1st of Kislev 2010 to the 26th of Kislev 2017 is 2,595 days (2520+75).  From the 17th of Heshevan until the 26th of Kislev is forty days and from the 1st of Kislev to the 26th of Kislev is 26 days.  The ratio of the 2,595 days to the 4,056 days compared to 40 days is 25.59 days—or almost on the middle of the day of Kislev the 1st.   The ratio does work and helps with the fact that though no times pointed directly to 2010--indirectly they do.  It in fact further validates the whole scheme (Please see Appendix C and the chart, A Mathematical Correlation II)

Therefore it would appear that the Seventieth Week of Daniel resumes on November 8, 2010 (Kislev 1).  This would be the day that the covenant is enforced by the Antichrist.  Then 2,520 days later one would arrive at the Day of Atonement 2017.

Israel in the Land for 2,520 Years

When one thinks of all the calculations and time spans, there is still yet another one to consider.  Grant Jeffrey is the only author that demonstrated something close to this time cycle of Israel in the Land.  He noted that the Israelites entered the Land of Israel after their forty years of wandering in the wilderness in 1451BC.  This again was based on the chronology by Archbishop Ussher based strictly on the Bible.  Advancing 1,520 years from 1451 BC then would arrive at the time of AD 70—the time of the destruction of Jerusalem and the beginning of the Diaspora (dispersion).  If these 1,520 years are added to the Millennium the “magical” number of 2,520 years appears again.  This would be a time cycle of the number of years Israel was to be in the land of Israel.

However, there are problems with this view since Israel (Judah) was taken into captivity by the Babylonians and Israel is already in the land today.  The Babylonian Captivity lasted for 70 years (69 solar) from 606 to 537 BC and as we have seen, 2,520 360-day years from 537 BC landed one at AD 1948.  In essence then these 70 years should be subtracted making the 1,520 now 1,451 years, which means the 70 years (69 solar years) need to be tacked on prior to the Millennium to begin the time Israel would be back in the Land.  What is interesting is that the proposal of the year 2017 as the start of the Millennium is 69 solar years from AD 1948.  Since Israel became a nation in 1948, it fixes in time the latter part of this 2,520-year time cycle of them being in the Land.  Another piece of the puzzle, therefore, fits together making the picture all the more clear.  Israel then would be in the Land from 1451 BC to 606 BC, 537 BC to AD 70, and AD 1948 to AD 3017 to make 2,520 years.

Making sense of the dates

Please see the charts—Parallels of Judgment and Restoration 1 and 2

So far it may seem like too many numbers to process and come away with an understanding that can grasp it all.  Or it may seem like the time spans were selected without discrimination.  In other words, there may seem to be a pattern lacking while looking at the trees in the forest.  Let us look at the forest.

As we have seen earlier, the signs Jesus gave in Matthew 24 were linked back to the time associated with Babylon by 2,520 years.  This is demonstrated in the chart, Parallels of Judgment and Restoration 1.  Thematically and mathematically the four events of the Babylonian Captivity are linked to the four events of the twentieth century.  The four events also retained the mathematical properties of a parallelogram from then until now.  In other words there is an obvious pattern.  However, so far we have projected time spans from 1914, 1933, 1948, and 1967 based on biblical numbers that seem to work—100, 70, and 40.   The question then is, is there structure to the time spans of the four dates of 1914, 1933, 1948, and 1967 to the future?

In constructing the chart, Parallels of Judgment and Restoration 2, I discovered that the dates retained a parallel relationship of time, as well as continued the mathematical and thematical relationship from the four of the twentieth century (1914, 1933, 1948, and 1967).  The two legs or prongs of the signs of Jesus (world war, Israeli restoration) continued to remain parallel among themselves and creating a parallelogram of 2003, 2006, 2014, and 2017.  These four dates are also the most important ones of the Tribulation. The time of the Rapture, Ezekiel’s War, the Abomination of Desolation, and the beginning of the Millennium.  These parallels were discovered only after working through the dates individually.  After the individual conclusions were made, the ongoing structure of the four was discovered.  It was merely more pieces of the puzzle falling into place and it should if it is part of the plan of God.

Chapter 4

Signs in the Heavens

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

                                                            Luke 21:25-26

After analyzing the dates and their amazing relationship there was also something else to consider.  Jesus spoke of signs in the heavens and Joel speaks of a blackout of the sun before the day of the Lord.  Were there any signs and could they speak?

My first attempt was the diagram or chart—Comet Communication.  It was here that I showed that Shoemaker-Levy struck Jupiter on the ninth of Av.  I concluded that it showed a relationship to the ninth of Av twenty years later in 2014.  The astronomers also documented twenty-one fragments that struck Jupiter.  This is curious since the ninth of Av comes twenty-one days after the 17th of Tammuz.  It is the three weeks of mourning.  When Nebuchadnezzer took Jerusalem in 587 BC, his catapults stopped the daily sacrifice on the 17th of Tammuz and he then destroyed the temple on the ninth of Av.   It wouldn’t be surprising then to see the Antichrist do the similar thing in 2014.

The other thing that I saw was how an eclipse occurred on the Spring Equinox with Hale-Bopp at its closest approach.  It was the festival of Purim in 1997 and I saw how that was ten years before Purim 2007.  This coupled with three other eclipses on Jewish festival days in 1996 and 1997 seemed to point to more significance.  Let alone for the fact that the eclipses appeared blood red in Jerusalem. It also seemed interesting that it was probably 6000 years since Creation in the fall of 1997.  It seemed that a lot was indeed going on in the heavens.  Did it mean more and if so, what?

While looking for information on the comets of Hyakutake and Hale-Bopp, I came across something that people couldn’t figure out.  The course of Hyakutake had been plotted and dated against a map of the stars and likewise with Hale-Bopp.  Then it got interesting.  The trajectories of both comets crossed at right angles on the very same day one year apart.  Then some people noticed that the stars they crossed were in the constellation of Medusa, which means trodden under foot in the Hebrew.  It was none other than the head of Satan decapitated by Perses, which means overcomer representing Jesus Christ.  This was a picture of the prophecy in Genesis 3.  The day the comets crossed was April 11th and this fact would lead down the path of discovery.

What first came to mind was that accepting the scenario of the Crucifixion in AD 32, meant that April 11th was on Friday the 15th of Nisan, which would have been called the Passover. [37]   In other words this was the Passover of the Crucifixion—April 11th.  What must be understood is that the only significance about April 11th is that it demonstrates our location around the Sun.  So the time the comets crossed was at the same position of the Earth to the Sun as in AD 32.

As far as information on this went, it was noted that after Hyakutake in 1996 and Hale-Bopp in 1997, that 1998’s Passover was on April 11th.  This seemed a bit “strange” and “coincidental”.  What was going on?  Nothing of significance happened in the heavens in 1998 so I started counting the days.  I did this because Passover in AD 32 was also on April 11th and from Pentecost AD 32 until Rosh Hashanah 2003 was 2,000 (360-day) years plus ten days.  Seeing an April 11th connection I wondered if April 11, 1998 was 2000 days before Rosh Hashanah--it was 1,995 days.  But it was 2,000 days from the 10th of Nisan until Rosh Hashanah—the 10th of Nisan being the day of the selected Lamb that was rejected.  Or if one started the day count from Nisan the 1st (the religious New Year) it would be 2,000 days until September 17, 2003, which is exactly where the 2000 (360-day) years land from Pentecost AD 32 (June 1, AD 32). Is it only pure coincidence?  So from the 50th day (Pentecost) and traveling 2000 (360-day) years lands one ten days before the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah).  But from the 50th year of Israel regathering (1998 was their 50th year celebration) and traveling 2000 days lands one in the same spot on the calendar—ten days before Trumpets.  The pattern seemed fairly clear, but was there even more?  Absolutely.

It is then that I looked up April 11th Passovers over a two hundred-year span.  The given year then was 1998 and its apparent connection to Trumpets of 2003.  Looking forward the next year where an April 11th Passover occurred was 2017.  This is the year that the Armageddon Campaign would close and the Millennium would begin.  This was startling enough.  Then I decided to go back in time and it took many years to reach another April 11th Passover.  It “so happened” that the next year back was 1933 and as we have seen, April 11th Passover is the time Hitler’s laws were enacted.  It was the starting phase of World War II.  Going back more years to find an April 11th Passover would clinch it.  The year that flashed on my computer screen was 1914 and my jaw hit the floor.  This was for the fact that April 11th hit the dates I had already developed in the scheme, but also for the fact that April 11th as a Passover hit no other dates in the Twentieth Century.  I even looked further and the nearest April 11th Passovers were 1865 and 2028.  What were the odds? Incalculable.  Probably the same chance as two major comets crossing their paths at ninety degree angles on the same date only one year apart.  It was also noticed that this April 11th “coincidence” had seven occurrences—AD 32, 1914, 1933, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 2017.

These signs in the heavens are but a sample of what is too come.   The question though is how many signs will it take to convince some people that the time is coming?  Jesus said an evil generation seeks after a sign because they keep seeking and do not believe.  The issue here is not the signs, but what to do with them.

Chapter 5

Conclusion -- The Point

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life . . . He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:16 & 18

The point of all this is of course the salvation of the unbeliever and the stirring up of believers to do the communication that the time is about to come.  The world is about to enter a period of great deception that is followed by carnage that overshadows any previous time in human history.  The entire population of the world will be about to become extinct, if it weren’t for Christ returning at the end of the Tribulation to purge the world of evil.  There is in the end only one way of escape—to believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ upon the cross that paid the penalty of sin.

The escape then becomes the taking away of believers before the time of judgment, which is often called the Rapture of the Church.  The key then is to not miss this event by believing in Christ before the Rapture.  For those who later believe during the time of judgment, their hope is eternal life after martyrdom or to physically survive until the start of the Millennium—the real Millennium as ruled by Jesus Christ.  To those who choose not to believe, they will have no hope and will not survive to go into the Millennium—the 26th of Kislev.  It is, of course, better to believe now and not endure the coming pain and anguish, but human self-centeredness and the love of evil ignore the reality of the impending situation.  And even if there was not an impending situation, there still is death and a loss of eternal life is a bad trade for human arrogance.  It is nanoseconds for eons.

The war of evil will escalate as Satan tries to defeat God.  At the mid-point of the Tribulation Satan will be cast out of Heaven and those final three and a half years will be his attempt to win.  How is that possible? It is not, but the reasoning is that if the Jewish race is extinguished, God’s promises to them will only become lies—something God cannot do.  This is why anti-Semitism rears its ugly head in times past, but this time will be the worst.   Human choices with the help of Satan will demonstrate the result of wickedness—utter ruin.  God in his timing though will save the world like in the days of Noah, but it comes at a price—no more time left for the unbelievers to change and believe in Christ as their Savior.

It is time then to believe in what Jesus did 2,000 years ago on a cross.  It is time to learn what he taught, live it, and teach it to others.  It is time to have compassion and love for those who haven’t decided for eternity.  It is time to consider what little time is left and take the time to do the work Christ commanded us to do until the end of the age—to go and tell the peoples of the world what God has done for us and what he will do.

It is not time to do anything stupid or foolish.

A Word of Caution

To speak of the future with specific dates can of course be quite troublesome. [38]   Too many people have been mistaken in times past to not have caution here.  Looking at some of the previous theories that failed, I have not seen ones that relied on almost every important date in the Bible or of modern history.  To not share these discoveries would be akin to finding out how to predict earthquakes or warn of a storm, but keep it to oneself and watch all the others suffer.

The key is not to focus on the day only, but keep the focus on God and his plan for our life.  We need to find our purpose and live each day to the fullest for Christ.  It is not to be like those of whom Jesus spoke about when he returns who were marrying and doing the other daily activities with no clue on what was going to happen.  They weren’t watching, but he has commanded us to watch and live His Word.

“Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent.  Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.”

Revelation 3:3

Summary

As of this writing then there is still the Church or Body of Christ in existence on Earth.  It awaits the coming departure or Rapture to be with Christ in Heaven (the first resurrection).  This then will change the world since those who have been the salt of the Earth are now gone.  The Jews though will be the ones who will take up the baton and run with it as can be seen by the 144,000 witnesses.

The loss of salt though will bring ideas to the leadership in Russia and the Islamic States.  The U.S. and Britain will apparently lose their spines and fail to assist Israel in what looks to be sure annihilation for them.  This will therefore be the beginning of the prophesied war in Ezekiel, which is not the Tribulation or Armageddon.  God will stop this war and Israel will believe in God, but the Antichrist has not come yet to full power.  Now will be the time for global-political repositioning.

The Antichrist then will come from the area of Syria [39] taking part in the new Roman Empire (if it is even called such) which has ten divisions of the world.  After this time he will rise to world ruler and claim to be the Christ—the Prince of Peace.  The world will be shouting for peace (especially after Ezekiel’s War), but the Antichrist is not Christ and he cannot deliver on his promises.  At this time he will enforce a treaty or covenant with Israel that will last seven years until it is ended by Jesus at his return with the saints.  The Antichrist though will have strong delusion and the world will think the age of peace is upon them at the onset of the Tribulation, but the world after a time will go through hell almost literally.

Halfway through those seven years the Jews will wake up and flee to the wilderness as the Antichrist starts his campaign to rid the world of Jews and those who do not worship him. Only those who will worship him and take his mark will be able to engage in legal commerce.  The dramatic events of the Book of Revelation then begin with the many judgments.  In the end the armies of the world will sweep into Israel in a last attempt to kill the Jews.

Jesus though will come back to annihilate the armies at a place called the plains of Meggido or known as Armageddon.  When Christ descends with the saints the war briefly turns toward Jesus, but the blood will flow to the depth of a Horse’s bridle for about two hundred miles. [40]   Christ will descend onto the Mount of Olives and begin his earthly reign on Earth for a thousand years.  Those who have not come to a saving faith since the Rapture will find out that they cannot enter into this New Kingdom.  It’s the judgment of the sheep and goats and only the sheep will live another thousand years on a restored Earth. The resurrected saints who returned with Christ will rule with Christ during the Millennium. So it is not the end of the world, but a new beginning.  It will for a time seem like the end of the world though.  It is not all doom and gloom, but looking forward to a more perfect world.

The prophecies of this New World exist throughout the Bible and speak of a glorious time.  The process of getting there was revealed greatly during the time of the Babylonian Captivity to reassure the captive Jews of where they stood in history.  It is fitting then that the time cycles originated from this period to then land in our time in two stages.  Jesus understood these signs and gave them for our benefit.  We were to watch for them and then look for His return.  Jesus Christ is hoping that we are expecting Him—for we are hopefully acting like the Bride of Christ.

Appendix A

“No One Knows the Day or Hour”

Strangely a universal truth concerning the time of Christ’s return is the belief that no one knows when he is coming back—not even Christ himself.  After all that seems to be what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 24 and it continues to this day.  This, however, conflicts with the intent of the immediate context of what Jesus just said in the Olivet Discourse or even the fact that he is God.  If not even Christ can know there is a problem.  There then appears to be a difficulty of interpretation, since he and the Bible give information on how to watch for his return.

The first problem then is of the immediate context.  Jesus was just asked to give signs of the end of the age, and he gave them in Matthew chapter 24.  He gave the general conditions of the age and then the sign when “the contractions” of the labor process would begin--that being world war and the return of Israel.  Jesus also refers to Daniel chapter 9, which concerns the Abomination of Desolation as occurring in the middle of the week, being the seven-year Tribulation.  Jesus seems to know exactly what is going to happen and using the book of Daniel or Revelation, anyone can calculate 1,260 days.  It is 1,260 days from the Abomination of Desolation to the Second Coming of Christ (none of these passages, however, refer to the Rapture.  They refer to the Second Coming of Christ at the end of the Tribulation.).  So how is it possible that one cannot know, especially if one sees the signs and understands the times of the Bible?

Another discussion of this subject is Paul in First Thessalonians 5.  Here Paul says that the believers have no need for signs or for seasons at that time because they know that the Day of the Lord will only overtake the people of darkness like a thief in the night.  He goes on to say that the believers are of the light and should not be overtaken like a thief.  The believers are to watch for Christ’s return (here it is the Rapture) and not be caught unawares.  The light is the truth of God’s Word and having that should let them see the day approaching.  This is what Jesus said in Revelation 3 to the church at Sardis.  He warns them to repent or he would come upon them like a thief and that they would not know the hour of his return.  So how is it that no one can know when we are told to watch and not be caught off guard?  Even know the hour? We are often led to believe that Jesus is still waiting for the Father to give him the nod when to return.  So what did Jesus mean when he said, “no one knows the day of hour, not even the Son”?

Often problems of understanding the Scriptures come from an issue of interpretation of the original language or a figure of speech.  Here the problem may be a figure of speech.  In a way that seems to have concealed the truth for most of us, Jesus used a Jewish term that refers to one of their holy days—Rosh Hashanah.  Rosh Hashanah, or the Feast of Trumpets, was the start of the civil year and it could only begin by two witnesses observing the new moon in the western sky.  No one could know by calculation, but only by observance.  This then became a term used for this day, a day known as "no one knows the day or hour” for this reason.  Jesus said that not even he “knew” to call attention to the two witnesses of the Sannhedrin, since only they could make the legal call as to when to begin the New Year.  With tongue in cheek, Jesus reveals, but conceals.

This is consistent then with the Apostle Paul when he discusses the mystery of the Rapture in 1 Corinthians.  He uses the term “the last trump”.  To most of the gentiles it is of no consequence, but to the first century Jew, it pinpoints a specific day.  That day is again Rosh Hashanah.   The first trump represents the giving of the Law in the wilderness on Pentecost, the second or last trump gives the announcement of the New Year.  The theme of Rosh Hashanah is resurrection as well, which is what the Rapture of the Church is.  Paul understands all of this and that is what he is saying—that the Rapture occurs on Rosh Hashanah.

The only other time that Jesus seems to say that no one can know, outside of the Olivet Discourse, is at his ascension to heaven forty days after his resurrection.   It’s in the book of Acts chapter 1.  Here his followers ask him questions concerning his return.  Jesus says it is not for them to know, because their time concerns the coming of the Holy Spirit with the establishment of the Church.

In a way then it is like Daniel, where he is given a length of days, but he is to seal it up until the end when people will understand.  It frustrated Daniel, but he was far removed from the time in which we now live.  The Bible then does not come right out and blatantly reveal, but conceals until the time is right.  A careful examination of the Scriptures finds no prohibition to look or watch for the time.  It in fact commands us to.  How can one watch, if one cannot possibly know? With the signs that have been seen to occur numerous times in the twentieth century, it would seem plausible that we have entered that time where it is possible to know.

In the end it is quite interesting that the same problem or issue was debated before the birth of Christ.  The Rabbis did not want dates suggested since it would dash the hopes of the people if nothing happened.  They were successful in that relatively few are mentioned to be anticipating the birth of Jesus.  There is Simeon and Anna and the wise men (the Magii).  The “wise men” apparently had figured something out to walk on faith all of those miles to Bethlehem.  Yet, few dare to venture out and say why or how planetary alignments or a supernova could communicate the revelation of God.  This though is another subject.

The real concern then is to watch and not fear the wrath of God for meditating on the possibilities.  If history is an indicator, the battle over the idea of watching or anticipating will probably be lost to those who want to enjoy their earthly lives.  This is probably the real reason why the doctrine of “you can’t know” is so popular even though “can’t” is not in the text of the Bible.  No one really wants to die early, and this is the same principle.  The problem is that God has said that those he finds watching when Christ returns are blessed (Luke 12:37).  So the real question then is, can we afford to miss it and be caught being concerned about other things?  Can we rather be like the wise men?

The “wise men” of the Church should see the Day of the Lord approaching and be ready for the day of Resurrection.  They should also be trying to reach those who could be the future “wise men” of the Day of the Lord.  Those who didn’t believe in Christ before the Rapture/Resurrection, but then know the truth afterwards, help spread it, and can determine when Christ will come back to set up his earthly reign and purge the world of the evil that about destroys it.  The time at hand will be the worst of human history and it is vitally important to understand it—not miss the boat.

Appendix B

360 Days versus 365.2422 Days

Throughout this paper there is reference to a 360-day year and a 365.2422-day year.  Some other authors on this topic refer to the 360-day year as a biblical year, but originally it was the length of a year prior to about 701 BC. It is after that time that most cultures adjusted their calendars to add 5+ days to the original length of a year.  For some reason God shifted the calendar.

The problem then is when to use either one of the times for doing all of the calculations so that one does not pick and choose what is needed to fit a time span.  Some people in the past have used them interchangeably and some threw out the converting to 360-day years as too contorted.  When Sir Robert Anderson did his famous work, The Coming Prince, he used the 360-day year to count from 445 BC to 32 AD, 69 weeks or 483 years based on Daniel 9.  He used the 360-day year since the book of Daniel uses it in saying that 3.5 years is 1260 days.  Since the Bible uses 360-day years in the future, it must still be valid.  But how does one differentiate between the two on when to use them?  One cannot massage the numbers in order to fit—though it is still hard.

In the four timelines that reach from the time of the Babylonians (Times of the Gentiles, Times of Judgment, Times of Return, and Times of Jerusalem), one can see that two are solar and two are based on the 360-day years.  Here is where the dividing line seems to lie.  Any period starting on or before 587 BC uses solar years, whereas those afterward use the 360-day year.  This is why the Times of the Gentiles from 606 BC until 1914 is solar and the continuance of it from 1914 to 2014 would be solar as well.  One does not switch mid-stream the scale of days they are using.  This is the key principle.   The same then goes for 537 BC until 1948 AD and then until 2007—all on a 360-day year.  The times are therefore not interchangeable and applied however one wants to fit a scheme.  This is why again for consistency the Parallelogram of Time chart uses only solar years since the time sequence began well before 587 BC.  So if the sequence starts on or before 587 BC one should use solar years and 360-day years after that point in time.  In other words, if it started purely annual then keep it annual regardless if the year has since lengthened.

The observant though will notice that 587 BC comes after 701 BC when the change came about.  There could be two reasons to it.  The first may be that the 365.2422-day year is more of a time cycle that applies to the Gentiles.  The second option may be that the time cycles of 606 and 587 BC have a previous link to a previous time cycle.  The cycle previous was the 490 years that the Jews did not observe the Sabbath year since they took a king, which taxed them too severely.  At this time it is hard to come up with a concrete answer, only that in the end that the math works and that the time sequences that use it are consistent.  In other words it must follow a pattern and it does.

Appendix C

A Mathematical Correlation II

Why did the Flood end on the 27th of Heshevan?  Why did God pick that day?  The Flood ends after a year and lands within the forty-day period much like the beginning of the Tribulation did on Kislev 1. Again there appears to be a scale with reference to the final day of the 26th of Kislev 2017.  This time the forty-day scale might apply to the 6020 years (4004 BC to 2017 AD) from Creation until the full blessing of the Millennial reign of Christ. The Flood ended on the 27th of Heshevan 2347 BC and it started on the 17th of Heshevan 2348 BC.  So could the 27th of Heshevan on the forty-day scale correlate to the time of the Flood on the 6020-year scale?  1656 years from Creation to the Flood divided by 6020 equals 0.275083 and 11 divided by 40 equals 0.275. The difference of only 0.00008 (0.275083 – 0.275) is about 4.6 minutes on the forty-day scale and six months on the 6020-year scale.  Though highly similar in ratio, it does put it past the eleventh day by 4.6 minutes.

To compare apples to apples we probably should use the 360-day year (please see the chart “the Days of Noah”) which hits 6059.6 in 2017.  In essence we count the days instead of the years.   Using this instead puts us 1.7 hours before the end of the 27th of Heshevan in the 40-day scale.  If the Flood ended on any other day of the 360 days, the whole calculation would be lost.  Again the whole scheme shows another “coincidence” and answers questions of why things happened on certain days or years and why the Bible documents them.  The details are there for a reason which contain a revelation of almost unbelievable mathematical proportions. The reason this only made an appendix is for the fact that this calculation is more difficult with the change in the length of the year.  It also might seem a little convoluted since the Flood lasted 371 days, so the 11 days is derived only if one counts the days in the window only, which would be eleven days.

I believe though that there is a legitimate comparison here.  Maybe to illustrate it better a person should take three sheets of paper the same length.  On the first draw a forty day scale from edge to edge and highlight the corresponding eleventh (27th Heshevan) and fifteenth days (1st Kislev) .  On the second sheet draw 6020 years and or 6060 years to scale from end to end and plot the time of the Flood.  On the third sheet plot the 4056 days to scale from end to end and plot the time of Kislev 1, 2010.  Then align the sheets and the similarities will be seen as comparable to the 40-day sheet.  Are there two coincidences with the 40-day scale? Probably not coincidences, but a little help from somewhere else.

[1] On this date Spain expelled the Jews in 1492, England expelled the Jews in 1290, Simeon Bar Cochba’s army was destroyed in AD 135, the Roman Army salted Jerusalem in AD 71, the twelve spies returned with their report of giants in the land in 1490 BC and Israel loses her faith and is sentenced to forty years in the wilderness to kill off that generation.

[2] Numbers 13-14.

[3] Many Christians of 1878 did this, but converted the 365 day years into 360 day years (2,520 time 360 divided by 365.2422 equals approximately 2,484 years.  AD 1878 plus 606 BC equals 2,484 years), but Jesus did not return.  The Jehovah’s Witnesses dropped the conversion and came up with 1914, but again no Jesus.  Jesus though could not come back until there was first world war and it was only this that occurred in 1914.

[4] That World War I is the sign of the end of the age is presented very well in Arnold Fruchtenbaum’s book, Footsteps of the Messiah, on pages 61 to 64.  The term of  “nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom” is understood by the Jewish Rabbis as being a total conflagration of the area. When Jesus speaks his context is of the entire world, so the conflagration is a worldwide war—the first being World War I.  This term is used in Isaiah 19 and 2 Chronicles 15.

[5] 587 BC plus AD 1933 equals 2,520 years.  To also clarify an issue here one should notice that no year “0” (there was never a year AD 0, or 0 BC) should place 1914 and 1933 at 2,519 years.  However, the Jewish year always begins in the fall on the 1st of Tishri.  Therefore, the Jewish year in which these events began started in 607 BC and 588 BC which in effect cancels out the issue.  The fact that these first two cycles use a 365.2422 day cycle instead of a converted 360 day cycle (as will be seen) suggests that God has deliberately set up separate timepieces to synchronize events.

[6] Leviticus 26:34-35, 2 Chronicles 36:21.

[7] Daniel 2:34.

[8] Luke 19:41-44.

[9] There are many passages in the Old Testament referring to fig trees and vines.  Hosea 9:10, Joel 1:7.  Some say the vine typifies Israel and others say it is also the fig tree.   It seems that both are used and it is not an issue of one or the other.  The pomegranate is also found alongside the vine and fig tree passages sometimes, as well as other trees.  See Luke 19:29.

[10] The captivity was seventy 360-day years, which equals 25,200 days.  This converted to 365.2422-day years is 68.995 years, which is about two days shy of 69 solar years.  This is why the captivity went from 606 to 537 BC

[11] To be consistent then with the fact that the seventy years were converted, we must convert them here.  2,520 360-day years would be 907,200 days.  Converted to 365.2422 day years would be 2483 years and 303 days. 537 BC plus 1948 equals 2484 years (remember: no year “0”).  If this new sentence started on July 16, 537 BC it would end 907,200 days later on May 14, 1948.

[12] Moshe thought this would keep peace between Jews and Arabs. He believed that neither the rabbis nor the Orthodox wanted to go there anyway. Some feared they might desecrate a holy place. Others didn't see the need for a temple since they had spiritualized the temple away by saying the spiritual principle of obedience to the Torah is more relevant than the institution of the Temple.

[13] The desolations were seventy 360-day years, which equals 25,200 days.  This converted to 365.2422-day years is 68.995 years, which is about two days shy of 69 solar years.  This is why the desolations went from 587 to 518 BC.

[17] Daniel 12:11-13.  1,290 and 1,335 days come after the Abomination of Desolation where the sacrifices are stopped and the Antichrist demands to be worshipped as God.  It is 1,260 days from this event until the Day of Atonement, but then includes 30 more days for a time of mourning after the Day of Atonement to get 1,290 days.  Remember, Israel can do their celebration of the holidays the next month when events are such that preclude them from celebrating them (Numbers 9:1-11, 2 Chronicles 30). From the end of the 1,290 days it advances 45 more days to arrive on the third day of Hanukkah (the gift giving day) which then equals 1,335 days.

[18] Daniel 8:11-14. Here the clock begins after the Temple is destroyed yet again for the third time on the ninth of Av.  In doing the calculations, 1150 days fits after the time of the ninth of Av and the tenth of Tishri--the Day of Atonement or known as Yom Kippur.  The count starts on the 11th of Av because the destruction starts on the 9th and goes through the 10th of Av—much like in times past.  This period of time of a little over three years can only have one leap month occurring to keep the calculation valid.

[19] Colossians 2:16-17.  Grant Jeffrey’s book, Armageddon: Appointment with Destiny, has three excellent chapters covering the significance of the seven Jewish festivals.

[20] Many put Easter or the resurrection of Christ in AD 33 or 30.  Looking at the computer calendars, it is only AD 32 that comes close to having the 17th of Nisan on a Sunday.  It is only one day off, which probably means that though the computer is accurate, things may have slowed slightly enough to throw the calculation off by a day.  Things do not remain the same according to the Second Law of Thermodynamics.

[21] It happens in the years 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2017.

[22] These years are 2007, 2010, 2011, and 2014.  The Jewish calendar is a lunar calendar that needs to add a leap month seven times in 19 years to keep in step with the solar year.  At one time the lunar and solar years were synchronized when the moon took 30 days to orbit instead of today’s 29.5.  The earth at that time took 360 days to orbit the sun instead of today’s 365.2422.  It is believed to have changed in 701 BC since after that time cultures dropped the 360-day year and moved to the 365.2422-day year.  Five days doesn’t seem like much, but it would be noticeable to even primitive cultures within a few years.

[23] If Pentecost AD 32 was June 1, AD 32, then we advance 1971 years to June 1, 2003. There then remains 108 days left which would bring us to September 17, 2003, which is ten days before the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) on September 27, 2003.  This is a Sabbath day.  In AD 32, Sunday would have been April 6 and Firstfruits (Easter) on April 13.

[24] The year 2006 is the other candidate in this scenario since like 2003 the Feast of Trumpets is on the Sabbath.  The 2006 option also comes prior to the other events, but would nullify the idea of the fourteen years or two “weeks” and also the Parallels of Judgment and Restoration to the End of the Age.

[25] There is an analogy given by teachers of the Jewish wedding where the bride and groom go off for seven days to return for the wedding feast.  Therefore the rapture is seen as the beginning of the seven, being years in this case, to then come back to Earth at the marriage supper of the lamb according to Revelation 19.  Whether or not the seven years fits this analogy is difficult since it is not directly spoken of in Scripture.  There are many possibilities.  Maybe the Judgment Seat of Christ, where Jesus judges the individuals of the Church after the Rapture takes seven years to then arrive at the remaining seven of the Tribulation to then fit this analogy.  It is speculation.

[26] The whole scenario from Trumpets 2003 to Hanukkah 2017 is 14.22 years—or an even 60 days less than 14.35 years.

[27] 2 Thessalonians 2 is one of the crucial passages referring to the Rapture in the order of things.  It is highly debated because the Greek word is merely transliterated or given a similar meaning.  In context Paul is not talking about a falling away or apostasy, but rather the gathering of the Church in the Rapture.  If the Greek word apostasia was translated correctly like the English Bibles did before the King James Version, it would be rendered “departure”.  This then fits the entire context and sheds light on what is restraining the Antichrist-—the Rapture of the Church.

[28] Ezekiel 39:21-29.  This is a key passage to understand the placement of this war in time and the results of what is communicated by it.  Israel will know God and the Gentiles will see the dispersion is over and was for a reason.

[29] Ezekiel 39:12.

[30] Ezekiel 39:9.

[31] The seventeenth of Tammuz is the day Moses broke the tablets of the Law after seeing the golden calf. The day the Babylonians broke through the walls of Jerusalem to result in the daily sacrifices ceasing. The day the Roman army attacks Jerusalem to cause another ceasing of the daily sacrifices that to this day have not occurred since.

[32] 1 Thessalonians 5:3.

[33] David Dolan’s book, Israel in Crisis; What Lies Ahead?, suggests that the prophecy against Damascus in Isaiah chapter 17 is the next event on the horizon. Or could this be a prophecy of the time of the Tribulation?

[34] Lunar eclipses on Passover 1996, Tabernacles 1996, Purim 1997, and Tabernacles 1997.

[35] Ezekiel 39:3.

[36] 1335 days minus 1260 days is 75 days.  It is 75 days from Atonement to the third day of Hanukkah.

[37] It is actually the Feast of Unleavened Bread, but it is often called Passover knowing that the Passover sacrifice happens at twilight on the 14th of Nisan.  Keeping this in mind, further references to Passover here will use the common terming of the 15th of Nisan as Passover since looking up calendars will document it this way.

[38] In some ways I hesitate to put down Roman dates as opposed to Jewish dates for the fact that it says Antichrist will at least attempt to change dates and the calendar during the Tribulation.  The only way to truly keep track is by counting each day or observing the cycles of the moon.  The trouble is that most people are used to relying on a printed calendar and if different ones were made it would be confusing to say the least.  Whatever the Antichrist will do, will be for the purposes of confusion and deception.

[39] Isaiah 10:12 and 14:25.

[40] Revelation 14:20.
