** It is hard to believe but the 29th Annual WomenÕs Senior/Masters Racquetball National Championships are only a little more than 2 months away!


            The tournament will be held January 12-14, 2018 at the beautiful Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club in Tucson, AZ.  There will be round-robin age-group competition in both singles and doubles. Singles features open/A and B/C divisions for all players 35+.  Doubles will have 10-year age divisions for 35 and up.  You can enter singles, doubles or both. Entry deadline for online entries is January 3rd at , or you can download an entry form at our web site and mail it in by December 30.             Fun Doubles to benefit Breast Cancer Research will be held from 2:30-5 pm on Thursday January 11 at the club, followed by check-in and a playersÕ meeting featuring complimentary appetizers and drinks. Championship play starts on Friday morning and continues until mid-Sunday afternoon. For travel after the tournament, please schedule your flights on Monday (MLK holiday) or late afternoon or evening Sunday. Any exceptions to the schedule need to be addressed at the time of entry.

            You will want to extend your stay to enjoy all the Tucson area has to offer, from golf to hiking the desert to the many museums. Tournament director Cindy Tilbury has some special social events planned, including a Game Night with Bunko and Pictionary and a trip to the famous Biosphere 2!  We will also feature the famous Saturday night banquet, with music and all the dancing you can handle! We will also conduct the annual exciting silent auction to support racquetball and the WSMRA.
