Mid-winter greetings! Here are some updates that I hope will be of interest to you all!

The recently completed 23rd Annual Women's Senior/Masters tournament in Sarasota, FL was a great success.  On behalf of the WSMRA I would like to thank the tournament directors Chad Bailey, Judy Arnold, Kathie Trotter and Bob Kulscar, all the volunteers, Wilson Racquetball and all the sponsors and donors for a great event.  Check out our web site www.wsmra.com for all the details, pictures and much more about the tournament. We have several important announcements for you:

** The 24th Annual Women's Senior/Masters tournament will be held Jan 18-20, 2013 at the Maverick Athletic Club in Arlington, TX  (Dallas/Ft. Worth area).  Leo Vasquez will be the tournament director. We hope that you'll plan to join us as we return to Texas and the Mav.  Check our web site and our Facebook page for details and updates.

** Further into the future, we are pleased to announce that our 25th Annual tournament will be held Jan 17-129, 2014 at the Spectrum Club in Canoga Park, CA.  Join us as we celebrate 25 years of great racquetball.  

** The WSMRA is now on Facebook!  Thanks to new Board member Jean Halahan, we now have a Facebook page.  Follow the link below or on our web site to find us and like us.  We'll be posting tournament updates, pictures and much more.  Jean would love to post your racquetball stories- how did you get started in racquetball?  What is your best racquetball memory? Contact her at jeanhalahan@aol.com.

** The WSMRA is pleased to announce that Wilson Racquetball will continue as our National Sponsor for the 2013 and 2014 tournaments.  Many thanks to Chris Evon and Terri Graham for their continued support!

** We have two new WSMRA Board Members.  Long-time Board members Vickey Utter and Lynne Weisbart have recently stepped down.  A big thanks to Vickey and Lynne for their service to the WSMRA and racquetball!  Jean Halahan was elected at the recent tournament to replace Vickey, and I have appointed Beth Sacco to take Lynne's spot.  In addition, we are in the process of forming an Advisory Board, and Cindy Tilbury has graciously agreed to serve as a test member while we formalize this.
