Dear WSMRA Players, members and friends-
Hard to believe that it has been over a month since our 29th Annual WomenÕs Senior/Masters tournament in Tucson. 68 players from 23 states and Guatemala competed in round-robin singles and doubles and a wonderful time was had by all. Many thanks to tournament directors Cindy Tilbury and Linda Moore for a job well done! Also thanks to the many volunteers, sponsors and donors for doing so much to make the tournament a great success! Also to all you players who make the tournament a great event year after year! Pictures, links to results and much more about the tournament will be soon on our web site, www.wsmra.com.

* The USARacquetball Board of Directors Election is just around the corner, online voting starts March 1. Terry Rogers is the only woman on the slate of candidates this year. Terry has been involved with our sport for a very long time and over the years has contributed in many different ways. In addition to being a long-time member of the WSMRA Board and our tournament committee chair, Terry is president of the California Nevada Racquetball Association and a member of the Military Racquetball Federation Board. I am sure that if you have played in our tournament you have seen her doing a little bit of everything, and she works closely every year with our tournament committee and tournament directors to ensure a great event. Terry has been a big part of keeping the WSMRA organization and tournament going strong over the years. She was on the USAR Board in 2013-2016 and is familiar with many of the issues facing our sport. The online election process will begin March 1, 2018. If you are a USA Racquetball member 18 years or older, you will receive communication from USAR about voting, which is free. So log in, read the candidatesÕ statements, and VOTE! You can vote here, and also join if not currently a member (http://www.r2sports.com/tourney/home.asp?TID=24879). If you donÕt vote you canÕt complain.
