EXCITING
NEWS! YouÕve been asking for a venue more centrally located and here it is! Our 2020 tournament will be held in the St. Louis
area January 17-19, 2020 with fun
doubles on January 16. The venue will be Vetta
Racquet Sports Concord, a great facility with 10 courts. The General Manager of
Vetta is Dan Whitley, President of USARacquetball. Our tournament director will be Shari Coplen, who is a long-time player and member of the
WSMRA. St. Louis is a great place to start our 4th decade of competition,
since it was in the St. Louis area that we first organized the WSMRA, a few
years after our first tournament in 1990. Shari is already planning a great
event, including plans to invite the High School Girls to come and play doubles
with us "old folks" on Thursday and a tour of St. Louis to see the
many highlights of the city. Clydesdales! Brewery! The Arch! Historical Sites!
The club is located about
20 miles from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). Most major
airlines fly to St. Louis including United, American, Delta, Southwest and
Frontier.
Much more information about
the tournament and St. Louis will be available in the upcoming Months on our
web site and Facebook page.
Our 30th Annual
tournament was successfully held in January in Canoga Park, California.
Tournament directors Cindy Tilbury and Linda Moore
put on a wonderful event. Many thanks to the Club Athletic Society West Valley,
our ball Sponsor HEAD/Penn and all those who helped at the tournament, donated
to our silent auction or contributed in some way. A complete list is on our web
site. For the first time we offered both age group and skill level doubles.
Nearly 450 matches were played in 3 days! You can read all the details and some
fun facts on our web site wsmra.com and see pictures
there and on our Facebook page, WomenÕs Senior/Masters Racquetball Association.

The Women's Senior/Masters Racquetball Association
is very pleased and excited to announce that Racquetball Industry Leader HEAD/Penn
Racquet Sports will continue to be the Official Ball provider for the WSMRA! Many
thanks to Doug Ganim, Ben Simons and the HEAD/Penn

sport! We used the new Penn pink balls at our 30th Annual tournament
in California and we will be using Penn balls as we start our 4th
decade in St, Louis. We look forward to our partnership with Head/Penn in the
coming years to move racquetball forward! Be sure to support our sponsor
