About Me

Greetings fans of obscure train movies!  Welcome to my little website.  My name is Lindsay Korst and I reside in Redmond, Washington.  The above picture is myself in the backyard with one of my favorite toys, a genuine Great Northern Railway semaphore signal blade.

I started this website because I've always had an interest in trains and these are some of my favorite, lesser-known railroad movies.
What's New?

08-08-2010 - Changed all the contact emails to korstl@frontier.com as Verizon is no longer my email provider.  korstl@frontier.net email will forward to my email account at gngoat@gnrhs.org.

10-31-2009 - I heard from L.C., or Leonidas Chaney who cleared me up on a few things (corrected) in my Thunder 1929 section.  I have also added L.C.'s mySpace page about Lon Chaney to the Thunder page.  Thanks, L.C.!

10-31-2009 - I have set up the obscuretrainmovies@verizon.net email to forward to my main email account at gngoat.org.  THUS...I can respond to y'all in a more timely fashion.  No more delays in replying and thanks for all the comments!

04-25-2009 - Updated "About Me" to reflect my new employer.

09-06-2008 - Added 3 new movies!  (Broadway Limited, Thunder, Wild Boys of the Road)

09-05-2008 - Added color picture of the actual chartreuse caboose!

06-05-2007 - Got it looking the way I like.  Hope to add more as I have time.

06-02-2007 - Added The Railrodder to films.  Adding text and tidying up.

05-28-2007 - Just starting out.  Trying my basic set up of the movies and text.
