Analysis

Bennett has great height, long arms, and a great wingspan with room to add some bulk. He runs well but does not display great speed or elusiveness after the catch. A well rounded blocker and receiver, Bennett finished his Aggie career with 105 receptions which ties him for first place in school history. By far, the Aggies go-to receiver this past season, he led the team in receptions. There is no history of injuries. Bennett exhibits good hands and uses his body to shield the defender when making the catch. He enjoys the blocking aspect of his position tallying 67 knockdown blocks in 2007. He is powerful at the point of attack but also has the athleticism to block downfield. Bennett is not afraid to go across the middle of the field and is comfortable making catches in traffic. In conclusion, Bennett is not overwhelming as a receiver alone, but he is a complete TE. He is a tough competitor who will push for a starting role early in his career.
