Player Rating Scale

 

This scale represents Surefire Scouting’s evaluation of each players overall value, it is not meant to indicate at which position a player will actually be selected.  This scale is universal from year to year, thus prior draft prospects can be compared with current draft prospects and vice versa.

The first numeral indicates round worthy of selection,

followed by a decimal & the selection number within the round indicated.  Where “O” indicates the top of the round & “9” the bottom of the indicated round.  The chart below details position within each round and the correlating selections.
