The highlight of my week was the opportunity to build into the lives of the kids who attended. [One of my campers] accepted Jesus. It was great to see how we meshed and complimented each other's skills. I have found support and encouragement here. It is the best thing about camp. Laughter, learning to canoe, watching campers grow in the Lord and interacting with campers was wonderful. I felt like I could show the boys that growing with the Lord can be fun. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to serve here alongside all of the staff and work with the kids. It was a new, exciting, fun experience. |
