Paestum:

Paestum, located in southern Italy, is another place that is deserving of the title "paradise." It is home to the best-preserved Greek ruins in the world. These ruins were discovered by accident, while a road was being constructed over the area.

A magnificent temple of Hera. My bro can be seen by the bottom-left corner, helping to portray the size of the ancient structure.
My wonderful Oregon-residing friend Shannon ( whom I met here, at our hotel ), me, and Shannon's mom Jan biking along a beautiful street.
Our lovely place of residence in Paesum, the Seliano Estate.
The Seliano family raise Water Buffalo for their meat and mozzarella cheese. Here I am, feeling quite sorry for the creatures who wait for their futures of either being milked or slaughtered... They are much more intelligent than cattle.
A couple of adorable Water Buffalo calves. Will they live to see adulthood? I know it sounds dopey, but I honestly had to keep myself from crying when I caught sight of these poor creatures.
Shannon and I on a sacred road in the Greek city. Ancient indentations made by horse-drawn carriages could be seen in the stones.
These three cool guys followed (stalked?) Shannon and I around the ruins for several hours. They would wave at us, make suggestive gestures, and just blatantly stare at us. Italian guys, oh boy!!
