Paris:

Paris is an incredible experience. The history of the city, the people, the language, everything is captivating. We took many pictures here, and, consequently,  this page takes a long time to load ;)

The lovely French/English sheep-dotted countryside we saw from the windows of the Chunnel train to Paris.
Daniel and I in an infamous Paris pastry shop.
Daniel, mom, and dad outside the largest museum in the world, the Louvre.
Inside the Louvre- I never thought I would ever see a crowd so thick as we saw here. Movement was quite difficult!
One of the most exciting exhibits at the Louvre: the Venus de Milo.
Me, with Louvre map in hand, admiring an amazing statue of the Emperor Tiberius.
I don't think this one needs much of a description- but she was much smaller than I expected.. Probably about 2.5 feet tall.
The incredible sunset we witnessed outside the Louvre.
Notre Dame! One of my favorite structures in the world. Sure, I'm not a fan of it's history (overbearing the pagan Gods, etc) but it's just a really, really, cool thing to finally see. Again, notice the smothering crowds at the base.
My brother and I inside Notre Dame. Here, there were candles that are open to the public to light and make a prayer/wish for, which I am doing.
These posters lined the walls of the Paris subway system. I found this one to be very humorous ;)
Remember the movie, "Hey Dude, Where's My Car?" Well, apparently it came to Paris.
