Venice-Lido:

Lido is an island on the outskirts of Venice. Here, the family and I consumed much Gelati, which is called, by most, the best ice cream in the world. One could probably call this island paradise.

Daniel, my dad, and me with our Gelati, sitting among the outdoor seats of a restaurant.
Daniel and I arriving in the city of Venice.
Venice: where the streets are made of water..!! The whole time we were there, I had a horrible urge to see someone pushed into the water- there were no guard rails anywhere! I suppose that is an American trend.. The lack of cars make it extremely quiet at night.
Yes folks, this is a slice of *real* Italian pizza... Artichoke pizza! Some people ate it with forks, others with their fingers, as I ( I think that's me, anyway.. ) am demonstrating.
My mom and Daniel by a wonderful "street" in lido.
