The 4 book series that kicked off my comics career. Created by Frank Lovece and Mike Okamoto.

After the inking, the Marvel "bull-pen" photo-statted the central figure, which was a shiny ebony alien, out-putted it in negative, then cut and pasted the result in place, giving the alien a more other-worldly effect. They did this for the whole series (bless them!). This was just before computer graphics became standard practice and they had to do this by hand.
