 The following information is provided courtesy of Chuck Lucas, who is working on the Geil line. (Jacob G. Swartz's father Samuel married Mary Geil, descendant of J. Conrad Geil) I've retyped it exactly as I received it.
This is my great (grand) father's Jacob Gyle Swartz (Grandma Shirley's father). My mother, Susie (Shirley Osborn) took from the old family bible of Jacob Gyle Swartz. Sister Mary Brown of Lincoln has the leaves of the Bible with this record on it. I copied it Dec 4, 1948. Nora Gammon

The Bible lists the parents of Jefferson Fletcher as Ann (Jett) Fletcher born around 1794 and died October 6, 1849. His father Harrison Fletcher is listed as born 1790 and died August 1854 at 64 years, 11 months, 19 days of age.

Sara Dawson (Barbee) Fletcher, the first wife of Jefferson Fletcher was the daughter of Joseph Barbee and Anne Harris. His second wife, Mary Jane (Garrett) Fletcher was the daughter of the Rev Anthony Garrett and Susanne Coberly.
