"Never Say BOO to a Frilly"
-

Illustrated by Aysin Eroglu

Includes: Never say BOO -
Rainbow Birds

& Tasmanian Devil Dance

Sample Verse
from
: "Never Say BOO to a Frilly"

Aussie Frillneck Lizards, are they Dinosaurs that live?
Or just some wretched lizards with|nothing much to give?
Without a built in thermostat
to regulate their heat.
Old Frilly has to wing it - and maybe even cheat.
He sits out in the morning sun and soaks up every ray,
Then stores that cozy feeling to keep night's chill at bay.

Meet My Illustrators -

Read about the talented artists whose illustrations make my rhymes jump off the page.I am happy to recommend these talented artists, because their delightful illustrations make my rhyming picture books sing. Each artist was a pleasure to work with. Most have websites, so please check them out!

* Kevin Scott Collier - Kevin's interpretation of the wild and wacky characters in "Rattlesnake Jam" gives grandparents a new persona. This rhyming tale slides beyond crazy, thanks to Kevin's artwork - YEA! Visit "Rattlesnale Jam" HERE

*Mustafa Delioglu - a Turkish illustrator, and artist of renown in Europe, immediately identified with the spirit of "Kangaroo Clues." I love how he infused an element of danger and mystery into his illustrations.

NOTE: If you like Mustafa's illustrations E-mail him here This is Aytul's e-mail, because she translates for him.

*Aysin Eroglu - Another talented illustrator from Turkey. Her art work for "Never Say BOO to a Frilly," adds fun and drama to my Aussie critters. Aysin is a celebrated illustrator who has done work for UNICEF, and has her work in European galleries. E-mail

OF INTEREST -

*Aytul Akal acted as English interpreter for both the Turkish artists above. Without her generous and insightful interaction, none of this would have been possible. Aytul is also famous, in her own part of the world, for her delightful children's books, many of which are illustrated by Mustafa Delioglu. I have some of her books in the English translations, and they are simply wonderful. E-mail

*Amy Moreno - This artist's many jewel like colors make my "Humdinger Hummers" fly across the page! E-mail

*Rebecca Holdsworth - Careful attention to detail, and quirky characters, makes this artist's illustrations in"Don't Eat Platypus Stew," lively fun. E-mail

* Gloria Swan - Her wonderful feel for nature makes "Mama Grizzly Bear"so real, you find yourself listening for the grizzly's growl. . . .
E-mail
*

* Kathy Iler - Her delightful drawings turned into stunning illustrations for "Prairie Dog Play Days." Kathy is also a wonderful artist to work with. E-Mail*

Elizabeth Koenig
- She helped me make "Squirrels Can't Help Being Nuts" into a wonderful garden romp. Her talent is beyond question. I have no hesitation in recommending any of these talented artist
